Inspiration

When writing your poems, where do you get your inspiration?

I usually get mine from having crushes, or boyfriends... but lately that form of inspiration is a little empty.

So where do you get yours?

From songs or other peoples poems (No I don't copywrite.) When I read someones poem.. um for example, pretty much everyones read Warped & Twisted (if ur into dark poems) I read it, I changed it for my self. Read my version of warped and twisted if you like :D

Everywhere and Everything. Most of my inspiration comes from strong emotions that I'm feeling at the time, but I've written silly things about my hometown, the weather, animals, nature, big brother (boy was that a rubbish poem). But my best work is still usually from my emotions. I write better when it comes from the heart, but while that works for me, it doesn't for everyone.

I write poems about everything, my inspiration comes from everywhere possible.
I write about my feelings, my friends and family. I write about other people's feelings, there emotions, i also write about the world around me.
I can take an object or a place and write about it.
Sometimes its hard just to write a poem unless it doesnt come from your heart, but with practice you can write about anything.

My inspiration is anything and everything.

Whether it's a name of a song or something, or just something I'm thinking about. But I've noticed lately that I usually just write when I'm bored.. So I guess being bored is an inspiration. =P Tehe.

Music, my art, mainly my extremely strong feelings, nature, in this i love doing. dark stuff.

I get inspiration from what I see, how Im feeling, and what is bugging me at any given moment

Usually from what people said to me when they were angry, and from loss... most of the time, I can write a poem if I am angry, sad, depressed or else happy.

i get mine from genrally everything that happens to me arguments...friendships...things that upset me...etcetc
but i can only write when stuff that actually inspires me to write happens usally stuff with alot of emotions and stuff =]

Life.

My life i take a lot of feelings and emotions from what Ive gone through and go through. Love, Heartbreak, Depression, etc. you know?

life. when i'm doing nothing in particular, inspiration in the form of a subject or sentence will hit, in which case i remember it, or grab a pen and paper and start writing as the words flow. =D

mostly i love to write poems when i really inspire, like my love hes my inspiration.. at the same time when im so depressed i write all what i feel in the poem sometimes it helps me to relieve some deeply pain in my heart..

My inspiration comes from the things in life that affect me.The things that move me and touch my heart and mind.Exhilaration, Melancholy, joy, sadness, love, heartbreak, pain, despair, hope.And as opposed to literay figures(though a nod to Poe, Jim Carroll, David Berman, and others are due) my main isnspiration is music and songwriters-Fish of the band Marillion. Leonard Cohen, Trent Reznor of NIne Inch Nails, Michael Stipe of R.E.M., Bob Dylan, Jim Morrison, and so many others.You find your inspiration in many places-nature-a beautiful day, a blue sky, a starry night, a full moon, a thunderstorm,in everyday life, in hopes, in dreams, also in others you admire-friends, poets, artists, writers, etc..And most of all, inspiration is found in yourself, your heart and soul.

my anger forces me to write xxx alexxxx

I used to write poems when HER thoughts come to my mine & now a days, I am not able to write any coz it has been more then a year since I have seen her, which makes me uneasy..........

But I write it, when I really want to see HER or when I want to have a talk to HER, but she never wants to face me & run ways everytime, so my POEMS are somewhat HEART BREAKING.......

Hmm .. I don`t know . I guess I get ideas from books, and songs . Or sometimes I just wanna WRiTE something about that topic yu kneoe ?
