    Anything that involves you reaching something on a national scale is highly commendable. 5th out of 11? Or actually 5th out of thousands?

    That is really great. You should be pround. I love piano, but i could never be in your position. You shouldn't be disappointed at all. Being a pianist is not easy.

    you should be proud...sure you finished 5th but jus think of all the ppl you had to beat to even comete in that competition...prolly much more than the 11 finalists you competed against...

    So CONGRATS for a job well done!!

    As others have said, you got to the national finals, and that right there is an achievement in itself - you already beat so many people!

    Coming fifth is great. Congratulations! Don't be down about it. Celebrate!

    Anyway, I'd be thrilled just to be able to play the piano - let alone get into competitions like you.

    Congrats Taylor...nice work.

    I know its disappointing when you dont win, but you didnt exactly loose either sweet heart...keep your head up!

    Get some feedback as to where you can improve for next year :o)
