custody/divorce poems needed for my book

Are you a parent in the middle of a heated custody battle? A friend who feels helpless as you watch his/her parents be torn apart emotionally while enduring the ordeal? A child being tugged this way and that during a custody battle? Maybe you’ve survived something such as this and you’d like to stop, reflect, and share the outcome – good or bad – that became of it?

I’m in the process of writing a book and am in search of non-fiction poetry to include. I’d like a variety of stories in these poems. Sad endings; happy endings; survival tips and so forth.
My vision for this book, titled "Mommy, when will it end?" will to have it be filled with poetry from people who've experienced the pain of child custody and thus expressed their pain/joy/loss through their writings. Should it become a success, I'm hopeful it'll help others, especially parents, to stop and reflect on the true life experiences of others, hopefully avoiding some of the same mistakes so many parents make while enduring this mess. I'm envisioning this book on the shelves of lawyers, parents, teenagers, counselors, and bookstores.
Of all poems received, 50 will be selected. I will give a complimentary copy of my book to all the writers whom I've chosen a poem from.

Include a two or three paragraph summary of your experience and what prompted you to write what you wrote. And finally, a photo of your child/children involved in the custody matter should you feel comfortable with it being published.

Also, please indicate whether or not your name can appear at the bottom of the poem. First name only, initials, or whatever name you feel comfortable being acknowledged by will work, too.

Shannon, Mother of Brianna, victim of an ongoing child custody battle

That's my Mom, I'm sure she wouldn't mind you using her poem as long as you give her the proper credit for it.
If you want to use it just private message her and she'll tell you if it's okay and give you her real name for the by line.
Good luck with the book, I think it will be a good asset for parents and children of divorce.

Thank you very much. I will read this soon. Your mom would absolutely be given all the credit for her poem. I'll explain the process should I choose this poem.

    Take care,

I loved them all! Question... Are these factual poems? If so, I will probably pick the following for my book...

    "Because of your Mistake"
"My last final prayer for this"
"Why is the devil such a jerk lord"

*I'll, send you more info via e-mail very soon. Thanks so much, Chelsey.
