    Just Waiting

    Sitting in a corner
    Eyes wide open
    Head against the wall
I am just waiting for you to come.

    Up the stair case
    And down the dark hall
    Shadows poring in the room
    As you open the door.

    My smile has faded
    My tears have come
    Here I sit
I was just waiting for you to come.

    Your face is hidden by
    Darkness and despair
    My fear has come
    As I stood up
    From my chair.

    No longer will
    I see the brightness
    Of the sun
    All has turn bleak
    As I was waiting
    For you to come.

    Take me quick
    Take me fast
    No longer will
    You haunt me
For now I will no longer
    Wait for you to come.

    Can I do bittersweet??

    x

    edit

    Bittersweet

    You brightened up
    almost every single day
of the dark life I had
and the darkness you blew away

when the sun had made a smile
    come upon my face
    you were pretty statisfied
and for a while you stopped the chase

    I took you for granted
and trusted you for every part
    my soul I had handed
it to you and that wasn't even hard

    but you betrayed me
    that hurt me deep inside
and all of our memories that I see
are so bittersweet that I just want to hide

    Hide beneath the surface
    of a fake lost me
the person that because of you
    was gone, and now carefree

    but here she is now
    back again
    hiding from you
    and our bittersweet memories

    by Sarah

    An Angel came one morning,
    A visit he did pay.
    That angel took my baby,
    And tore my heart away.

    So innocent was my baby,
    An angel in my eye.
    My baby didn't whimper,
    Only gave a little sigh.

    I truly love that baby,
More than words could ever say.
Lord, why did that angel come,
    And take my baby away?

The answers, I will never know,
For it is your chosen way.
I know my baby's in heaven,
Safe in your arms, I pray.

Lord, help me to see that light,
    So that I may understand.
And when I see my babe again,
It is in your promised land.

    Hush my little angel
For I will hold your hand
You sleep so still and peacefully
    A world beyond this land

    Hush my little angel
    They cannot touch you there
    Another angel by your side
    Deep within a prayer

    Hush my little angel
No tear for you to cry
    Far beyond this windswept world
    An angels lullaby

    We will be together Not
    now but some day.
But I can put my mind at
ease you are out of harms way.

    ~Shattered~

Each jagged edge bares its own unique pattern.
Patterns that diminish, but are soon recreated.
Recreated with similar differences, but not the same,
for "same" is just a metaphor for the truly impossible.

For as each piece slips through the lucent air,
they are preparing for their second decent.
A decent much less abrupt than that of the first,
for the first decent was all that mattered.

Now, that which was once whole, is shattered,
with each rise and fall the pieces chip and settle.
Settle upon the ground where they lay terrified,
terrified to see their eternal bonds forever broken.

The noise of shattering dulls, a new sound emerges,
its pattern obvious to those who have fallen.
A shadow covers the remains of what used to be,
what used to hold God's most beautiful creation.

The shadow disappears, yet darkness remains,
the sound of a rain stick fills the empty room.
A quick silence, and a new melody fills the air,
the melody of a bag slowly filled with undesirable candy.

The tiny pieces left in the light are soon overwhelmed,
brushed under the stove where I stand exhausted.
No longer does my vase stand stocked with roses,
no longer is my apartment filled with their sweet aroma.

Watching the vase fall I realize our similarities,
analyzing each moment of its decent as my own.
The initial fall, instigated by that of a mere bump,
a slight mishap, with a devastating outcome.

~Too many times we let minuscule incidents rile us up. All too often these incidents escalate into something unmanageable. If we just chill out and go with the flow, major problems can be avoided. Unlike the vase, when we shatter the pieces are a whole lot easier to pick up. Don't leave your pieces lying out on the tiles, pick them up and put yourself back together. Life is too short to dwell on the past.~

    Loved One

you used to look at me
in a way that made me shiver
    our eyes met and loved
in the swirling air around us

    then one night, alone
    togther as one we were
    talking that changed to love
in the darkest of the dark

in the black of the rumble
    the glances turned to touch
    our hands pressed so close
    searing with our love

now i await your lost love
    those touches are far gone
    and the glances sadly spare
where have you gone, loved one

*sigh* i had a poem written with hearttouching love which my computer decided to ignore when i posted. :(

    RESERVE, FRIENDLY FACES

    Time

    Watch the pendulum swing
    Moving golden specks
    Hear it's music sing
    Through time's fierce effect

    An aging process indeed
    Seeping through our veins
    Planting it's unwanting seed
    Time's unreversable chains

    Knees and arms grow weak
    Fragile mind grows on
    Eyes are shady bleak
    as life just rolls along

    A friend helping to heal
    or an enemy testing you
    Crushing sensation you feel
    What tactics can we do

    To overcome this opponent
    Dragging our live's down
    Time becomes malevolent
    Then we are all bound

    Special Love

There’s a burning in my heart,
    A fire in my soul,
I’ve found the love of my life,
The man that makes me whole.

This man is a beautiful angel,
He is always by my side,
He has been there when I needed him,
He has held me when I’ve cried.

    I thank God every day,
That I have a wonderful man,
Who doesn’t care what I look like,
And is proud of who I am.

    Together we are flawless,
There is nothing we cannot do,
    Our love together is special,
Our love for each other is true.
