Crying Wine

Your depressed, and your drunk.
You've had too much wine.
You think a few more drinks will do,
and that you'll be fine.

Your weak, and your dizzy,
and you almost want to cry.
you call her, she's busy,
but you had to try.

Your tired, from all the alcohol,
and you wonder why you live.
You stumble and fall,
what else is there to give?

You begin to close your eyes,
with one last tear.
You've had so many tries,
but now death is near.

She calls you back,
but it's already over.
She starts to worry,
your way beyond sober.

She knocks on your door, and knows there's trouble.
and finds you on your bed.
She starts to cry as she picked up a bottle,
because she realizes that your dead

Unhealed Wounds.

There's unhealed wounds surrounding my shattered heart,
Poison running through my blood which you helped start.
Unwanted thoughts flowing through my innocent mind,
Of wanting to leave this horrible world that God designed.

Remembering the moments when you slapped my face,
I was shocked and afraid to run back to that place.
What I had called home was living in constant fear,
Cause I learned not to judge from what may not appear.

Purple hand marks covered my tanned back everyday,
I'd cry at night telling myself it would all be okay.
A tough knight in shining armor would come rescue me,
Releasing me from her prison, setting me free.

His hands were smothering me, unable to breathe,
Screaming and yelling, wishing that he would leave.
Choking my throat so tight that I couldn't escape,
Pleading to him please no, this is wrong, this is rape.

Breaking down on my knees with the glass in my hand,
Tears were soaring because no one could understand.
My body was shaking, it had become so numb,
Realizing I'd finally reached the rock bottom.

If I could...

If I could tell you that i love you,
I wouldn't know what to say,
I adore everything about you,
In every single way.

If I could change the way you look,
From your head down to your toes,
I wouldn't change a thing,
Not your eyes, your mouth or nose.

If I could see you everyday,
and kiss your gorgeous lips,
I would hold you in my arms tight,
With your hands touching my hips.

If I could ask you only one question,
I know just what it would be,
I would tell you that I love you,
And ask you to marry me.

Don't Cry

I know she left you forever
It must have hurt
But please, don't cry

Your tears are sharp and piercing
I can't stand to see you this way
I wish I could make you happy

Just say the word
And I will be right by you side
I hate seeing you so sad

I'll wipe your tears away
If you need anything
Just ask it of me

She left you, but don't cry
She's not even worth your time
She isn't good enough for you

Please don't cut your wrists
Those scars break my heart
She has never been worth your pain

I want to see your happy smile
Nothing should make you cry
You don't deserve the hurt

You might not feel loved
But I am always here
I will always care

- This poem is based on a friend of mine whose girlfriend left him and he began to cut. I wrote this poem to tell him that no matter what he thinks, he will always have at least one person who cares. -

This Place in My Head

There is a place,
In my head,
No body fights,
No body's dead.

I see it all the time,
Its like a little dream,
If only I could go there,
Or like it let it seem.

I want a world,
With no war,
No one steals,
Houses with open doors.

Everybody works,
No one is lazy,
Everybodys nice and smart,
No bodys mean and crazy.

No theifs,
No cops,
No war,
No shops.

Free things,
Free gum,
Free friends,
..Freedom

Rest in Pieces [Glosa]

The shattered night lays death to rest,
At the kiss of the razors blood impressed.
Tonight the heavens and hell will collide
In this child's suicide.

The burning lights of a blackened sky,
Pours down suffering from evil's eye
Upon the world deaf to the depressed,
The shattered night lays death to rest.

A grave dug deep by little hands,
Her white dress covered in tainted dark sands.
The reaper of souls will be there on request,
At the kiss of the razors blood impressed.

Nothing to give in sacrifice for peace.
No words she spoke to Allah for release.
The judgement was made, not hers to decide,
Tonight the heavens and hell will collide.

The poison runs through her soul fresh,
Like acid onto her weak, starved flesh
Running through her veins, she can not hide
In this child's suicide.

Some Kids Don't play

Her trembling hands picked up the phone,
And did just what mommy always said
She dialed the numbers for an emergency,
Her mommy's face was bleeding red.

“9-11 what’s the emergency?”
Her mother’s moans didn’t fade
Nervously she said “may I speak to God please?
I don’t think he heard me when I prayed

“Young lady... I think you are mistaken.”
She heard the dispatcher replying.
“But I really need his help,” she wailed.
“I think my mommy's dying.”

“Ok then sweetheart, just breathe
Where is your mother hurt?”
“I can not even see her face
I don’t know how to bring her comfort”

“Just tell God to make her better.
He'll know what to do.
Mommy always said if you believe in Him,
He will pull you through.”

“I’ll surely tell him that baby doll
Now if you don’t mind I have to go
Some other emergencies are on the line
Just give your mother water and a pillow”

“Wait! She needs more than that!”
She cried into an empty phone.
Then she went to sit by her mother,
Cut by all the bottles her dad had thrown.

“Mommy they wouldn’t let me talk to God
Please tell me what to do!
Mommy! Mommy! Wake up!
Oh why’d daddy do what he had do?”

She restlessly peeked open her eyes
I love you Baby girl.. You’ll be alright.
Always remember to trust in God,
And say your prayers each night.”

My mom then shut her eyes
I stared at the phone
I can’t believe the emergency people
Just left me with my dead mother alone

Daddy had hit them both that night,
But she was the one who was alive
No matter how much she cried over mother,
Her tears couldn't bring her back to life.

I understand this world is so outraged
But some kids don’t play like that
A child really lost their mother
And she’ll never get her back

This girl’s pain had caused her life to not be fun
22 years later, she never again called 9-11

Crying from the Eyes and Bleeding From the Heart

***I've only just written this but it happened about a year ago i was "friends" with this girls who just made me feel so worthless and pathetic and I've tried to write about it before but it hasn't worked, so id really like to know what you guys think of this it would mean a lot to me , thanks***

Hey I know it's impossible,
but I tried for perfection
cause I wanted acceptance
and you gave rejection.

I didn't hate you - I wanted to love you
and when each day did dawn - grass soaked with dew
once again I'd fake that smile
just so i could be, good enough for you.

Some call it pathetic,
Some say it's lame,
but day after day
i'll continue on in this childish game

I'll beg for you love,
and with the most forced of smiles - ill try all day long.
Till alone in my room, ill turn up the radio and cry until dawn
then one day ill realise I'll realize I got it all wrong.

I needn't have endured the put-downs and the pain
I didn't need to feel so worthless or meek
I didn't need to play your stupid little game
and let you walk all over me.

Cause I can never be all that you wanted of me!
I can't change the way I am - I can't be perfect!
The truth is your no better than me!
and a true friend would love me, JUST AS I AM
