Ok guys this is my first contest...I am going to list some titles of the songs that I like and you guys are going to make a poem out of the title.

3) If you reserve you only have a few days to finish it (some people reserve and never finish it and then the winners are left waiting till someone finishes their poem)

8] Out Of Control.

All of the memories that are within my mind,
Hurt me too much to just leave them behind.
It doesn't matter how hard I try to forget,
Cause you always find a way to make me upset.

You carve your harsh words into my delicate heart,
While playing the victim as I'm falling apart.
You don't care about the pain you put me through,
Or the fact that I wanted to die because of you.

For every single tear that I have ever shed,
And for all those words that were left unsaid.
It's unbelievable how I've become so empty,
I never imagined that this would happen to me.

Pointless steps forward lead to more mistakes,
Another cold night with pounding headaches.
Salty tears start to fill up my dark green eyes,
And I know I can't keep hiding behind my disguise.

Scars from my past remind me that I'm weak,
Cause the help that I need I'm afraid to seek.
I can't help but think that I am out of control,
That there's a missing puzzle piece from my soul.

How do I stay strong when I know you'll walk away,
Not caring about all the things that I have to say.
I'm Spinning out of control; All because of you,
You left me here to fade away; Now I can't get through.

Of this cold disgruntled heart,

Time is Running Out

Drinking satire like wine,
Scorn breeding inside you.
Kill the foetus, kill your mind
Try to break through.
If you can win, you've got it all
It's a dirty game to play
Lie, cheat and stand tall,
To seek out dying prey.

Its hard to watch destruction, to kill what you let bloom
But there's beauty in the broken, like acid in the wound.

Their fancy painted masks,
Don't hide their true being.
They're trying to hurt you
To leave you grieving.
They're attacking the foundation,
Don't let it break!
They'll steal your life,
If you let them in to take.

Defeat them before they defeat you.
Don't let them give you doubt,
Their seeking your weakness
And time is running out...

*Sorry its a bit weird but its about bullies in a way, people who deliberatly hurt you to get you depressed and trying to fight them back*

I look to my left
And I look to my right
I’m so scared
I heard something there
Something upstairs
Frightening me in the dark
I go to the phone
Hope for escape
As the time starts

I pick up the phone
And call for help
He’s down the stairs
With his gun in his hands
Sirens go off from a mile away
He points the gun ready to shot
The door is broken down

I am giving you your final warning,
cut the sh** and quit your mourning.
You're going to be fine, you see,
the one who's given up is me.

We've been done many times before,

This is it, we cannot continue,
I have lost myself within you.

Now, I'm trying to find a way out,
a different road, an alternate route.
This is not just another break,

I just can't take this added stress,

Into the room I stood so still,
As if to wake the dead,
I creeped to the wooden side,
Looked in onto your bed,

Curtains pulled to a kiss,
Inside a movement found,
Shuddered into a slumber,
For now there is no sound,

Clasped the doll in my arms,
Rocked it to then fro,
Mustn't make a whisper,
No sound so they won't know,

Wrapped her in a blanket,
Crept to the staircased hall,
'No one,' I muttered,
Slipped and let her fall,

Week passed their tormented souls,
They wish to wake the dead,
All the little girl could see,
Was a her baby sister's bed.
