Alright I am holding a poetry contest. The contest will end after the 10 poems are done.

To Kill

As the blood rushed from her throbbing vain,
She sat with her knees in her chest,
Dissecting her body would ease her pain,
And suicide was for the best.

She was only 16 when she died that day,
Pondering about only herself,
Her mother had lost her only girl,
And her father had blamed himself.

A few days later while in her room,
Her mother found a note,
"I'm sick of the anxiety I'm going through,
I'm going to slit my throat".

Her mother sat on her sweet child’s bed,
Hoping that she would appear,
She found another sickening note,
That would flood her face with tears.

"Worst of all I hate my mother",
The crumpled up paper had read,
"I'm killing myself because of her,
Soon I will be dead".

Her mother ran into the kitchen,
And found a butchers knife,
She carved the blade into her skin,
Ending all of her strife.

A broken family is all that’s left,
From this once a cheerful home,
Mother and daughter both are dead,
And a father left all alone.

You and me are meant to be,
like the stars are meant to shine.
Together, forever
that's how it should be.
Love for a lifetime
and dance everyday,
never give up,
never go away.
Fates brought us together
that's how it should be.

Baby please understand,
you are the one for me.
I don't care what you think
I want you by my side
holding me and loving me
by my side for all of time.

Give me a chance,
I love you I swear
I can't get over you
cause we are meant to be.

Happiness

The light through the window,
The sunshine in the day.
No clouds in these skies,
To cover the blue with grey.

We were children once
But our hearts never did change.
I’m older now with patchy memory,
Of the love we did exchange.

Pick from the file, to look on the past,
That made us who we are.
I’ll never forget you taught me to love
And heal all of my scars.

I fall asleep and dream of you,
You’re everything in me
I’ll never let go of anything
That you taught me to be.

And as I look back at yesterday
At our laughter and our tears,
I’ll remember our happiness
Our struggles and our fears.

I know you’re here next to me,
I never felt you leave.
Your body may be dead and buried,
But the happiness I still receive.

~Leave Me~

I am giving you your final warning,
cut the sh** and quit your mourning.
You're going to be fine, you see,
the one who's given up is me.

We've been done many times before,
you are, no longer, who I adore.
This is it, we cannot continue,
I have lost myself within you.

Now, I'm trying to find a way out,
a different road, an alternate route.
This is not just another break,
forget about me for heaven's sake.

I just can't take this added stress,
I quit this never-ending quest.
Time is needed, for me to think,
of this mountain, I've reached the brink.

Now, It's time for me to come down,
I refuse to continue to wear this frown.
We had good times, yes I'll admit,
but reality is, I'm sick of your sh**.

I wanted to shout
how much I hated you
because of what you did to me
but I couldn't raise my voice out loud

And it's the memory of you
that seemed so close at first
I could even see your face
but the picture of you was cursed

As time was fading
you softly away
I buried your picture
because I had nothing left to say

Now I want to look at you
to see you, feel your heart again
but there's nothing left no more
and I don't know what to do

It's time, my dear
time that's driving you and me apart
time that crushes my heart
ever since you're not here

I wish time could stop
to keep a bit of you and me together
so that at least
I could see your memory again...

Peace

We have wars and we fight.
Is that supposed to be allright?

War is the main court, and people dessert,
How come no one cares if others get hurt?

Money drives the world, and is the center of peoples mind,
what happened to sharing, and just being kind?

Suicidal people and a here and there bomb,
this happens all the time, and we all seem to stay so calm?

People are angry and wars increase,
so how can you say all you want is peace?

The wind so loud
Never have I seen
The water so clear
Never have I touch
A grass so soft
Never have I whispered
The darkness to come.

Never will the sun shine
So bright
Never will I gaze into the light
Never will my heart
Be at piece
Never will I sing again.

A smile so graceful
Never have I witness
Such blue eyes
Never have I smelled
The morning air
Never have I taste
The first summer rain.

Never will I touch
Your beauty of skin

Your gentle lips
Never will I smell
You fresh combed hair

The sound of you
Breathing in the air.

I'll hold my breath as you walk right beside me,
A moment like this should always be treasured,
Because in your arms is where I long to be.

The love that is in my heart you have captured,
Never will these feelings I have go astray,
Words from my mouth and soul will not go unheard.

You hold the key to what I'm yearning to say,
If only you would come and unlock my door,
I'd tell you exactly how I feel today.

The love in your heart is what I'm searching for,
With my two bare hands I try to dig and find,
Who the special person is that you adore.

Do you see me standing here or are you blind?
Needing you is the only thing on my mind.
