Which Kinds?

I need some help. I'm not sure what kind of poems that I'm better at writing. On this site I've written 2 different kinds of poems, ones about life, and ones about love. And I'm not sure which I should try to improve. If someone can help me, I'd appreciate it.

How about branching out and trying something completely different? When I read through a writer's poems I have to say that quite often a clear pattern emerges: that they think they have quite a range, but from the other side of the fence their stuff is quite similar to the previous one, and often quite laborious to read, as a result.

I agree with that. Trying new things and straying from your comfort zone will teach you a lot about your skills and allow you to grow. Try writing a poem totally different from what you're used to; recently I did it and was pretty pleased with the results
