About these plagiarizers..

Mods -- Sorry to kind of restart this

But I just found one, except where I think it`s plagiarized from has no date on it. But the P&Q member posted it only about 11 days ago, so how "new" could it really be?
The grammar mistakes are EXACT on these two poems, by the way.
And the P&Q one is posted first ;; doesn`t that mean it`s newer??
I checked the same P&Q member`s other "funny" poems, and there`s more plagiarization going on.

    ♥Samantha Hollywood,

Did you check to see whether both copies were posted by the same person?
    ---------------------

The dates don't really mean anything. Poems can be edited.

    Example.

I post a poem called "Flowers For Mom" on Jan 10, 2005

You post a poem called "My Rolling Years" July 4, 2006

I -edit- my poem: Change the name to "My Rolling Years" and copy and paste your poem onto mine.

Now I have a poem called "My Rolling Years" with a date of Jan 10, 2005

Which make you look like the plagiariser, When in fact it's your poem!

Yeah, I know.. it sucks. Sorry.

    Oh, I get it.
But the site that I found one of the copies from isn`t even from this site. The page only has the poem, no copyright, no date, and no name. There`s really no way to tell anything about it.

Not really a detective, more like a victim. :(

I had approximately 30 poems posted here at one time.

I got angry at the plagiarism on the Internet so I took them down. (that was a mistake)

Unknown to me, someone else posted my poems on another site.

I post my poems back one day.

Get an e-mail from one of the new moderator telling me that I plagiarized my the poems I just posted because they appear at another site with an earlier date.

I took down my poems. :(

I figured out the dates don't really mean anything unless you have proof from the web-administrator. He/She would know when the editing took place.

I e-mailed Janis and Dainz about my situation, but as you know... that is wishful thinking.

    Wow, chatbox, really? That`s crazy.
I appreciate the help you guys are giving. I guess I`ll just wait for someone of the appropriate authority to find out if that person was really plargiarizing. Maybe they just posted it somewhere else, as well as on this site. I don`t know. I`ll leave it up to someone more experienced in the matter.

    Thanks,

People always have and always will plagiarise to an extent...I do not in any way, manner or form condone such dispicable behaviour. However rather than dwelling on it or letting it get to me so much I actually consider it a form of flattery...In reality would someone steal a crap poem? I think not your obviously quite a poet or victim :o) However you choose to see it is what really counts hey??
