I have been "unapproved" on a club that said everyone is welcome ~ can you help me or tell me how to find out why???

    I appreciate your help.

    Thanks!

It is because you suck Connie...if at first you do not succeed it is probably because you are crap

The club was: "A Club for Everyone" ~ yeah, right. Any suggestions? I'm just new to trying to write poetry about things important in my life, and could use any suggestions and help.

    Thank you!

I had a message like that when I joined a club, until someone finally approved me. You just need to wait to be accepted. Have you waited long enough for a response?

I don't know how long you have to wait. It came up "unapproved", so I guess I assumed that was their answer. I guess I'm just confused and a little hurt because I am new at this, and I just want to learn because I am enjoying writing poetry so much. I also thought becoming a member of a club would be a good way for me to learn and improve.

    Thanks!

Thank you for your reply to my post ~ I really appreciate it. I applied to another one, if I don't get accepted or don't hear anything in the next few days I will apply to EOP. I appreciate your response, and your suggestion to a good club!

ya basically what everyone else said it's not that they didn't turn you down they just haven't gotten to your application yet.

and if you do consider EOP for later on we practice differnent formats and styles, we practice different topics, sometimes have title challenges, we have contest within the club and with other clubs. we have discussion threads and a lot of fun. but if you do apply there is one thing that we ask of you that you participate. if you'd like more information you can email me through my profile.

Good luck with the club you already applied for though.

    Hi Jacklyn,

Thank you for your post and the information regarding EOP ~ even though I am just starting out at writing poetry, I am really interested in learning and improving. EOP sounds like a good place to do that at. If this other club doesn't work out I will definately be trying to get into EOP. Participating will not be a problem for me because I really am addicted to trying to learn different methods of writing!

    Thanks for responding!

I don't understand why it's taken these manager of clubs so long to get through the applications.

I check for applicants everyday and it only takes a couple of minutes to make a decision.

Anyway, Connie I hope everything works out for you and you join a club that will help you grow as a writer.

Thank you Holly for your encouragement. I have no idea if I will ever get to the point of being a good writer of poetry, but I have the desire ~ that counts for something. Thanks for your post!

    Hi again!

Just really curious if any of you think I should try another club again, be more patient, or give up all together??????? I tried for another club on the 13th and it is still showing unapproved ~ am I being too quick to think they don't want me, or does this mean I really am horrible??? Am I expecting a reply too quickly??? I just would like for someone to let me know, ok? Please don't post nasty things to me - I am just so interested in being in a club to learn more about poetry writing!! Whether at this point in my writing I am good or bad doesn't mean I can't improve.

    Thanks!

Connie, I don't know why you haven't been accepted to any of the other clubs.
I'm the manager of EOP and we'd be glad to have you. So if your not ready to hang it up all together come and apply with us.
