Alright this contest is an epitaph contest!!

*An epitaph is a brief poem consisting of four
lines inscribed on a tombstone praising a
deceased person, usually with rhyming lines.*
Rules:
1) Has to be newly written
2) 2 epitaphs per poet
3) Have fun

Prizes:

1st: r/r/c 6 poems
2nd: r/r/c 5 poems
3rd: r/r/c 4 poems
4th: r/r/c 3 poems
HM: r/r/c 2 poems

For you he opened a door.

Sister dearest, child of the world,
I miss you darling, my precious girl.
So rest in peace, from the very start,
And watch over me with your warm heart.

My Friend

Came on this Earth, with a glimmer of hope,
But you took your life with a hook and rope.
Not sure why, but I miss you so much,
I miss your love and friendly touch.

Heavens Gates {Epitaph}

Through the heavens gates is where you shall be found,
Since your precious heart now rests in peace underground.
Loved ones never had the chance to say their goodbye,
But they know you're watching over them from up high.

my courageous soldier, without hesitation

fought to his death, all for his nation

believing that lie,that fake story

Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori.

{{the last line is latin meaning to die for the fatherland is glorious i got that line from a wilfred owen poem but the epitaph is mine}}

i miss you, my very best friend

you protected me to the very end

i only am because of what you did

but how i wish you could have lived

Starry skies, hold him tight,
Keep him warm - safe at night.
Cradle him in the darkness,

The Prisoner's Epitaph

Here lies a restless man
Forever caught in the devil's strong gaze,
Shall you ever tread upon his grave
You will, too be tortured 'till the end of your days.

I will never forget

The moment when I first laid eyes on you
I knew the world would never end unless you did, too
I will never forget our sweet memories forever
And I promise never to forget you, ever

Dearly Beloved

To hold you in my arms one last time
Before you left my side
Was a treasure bright as heaven
Here my beloved lies

i know that you loved me you know i loved you too
and that is why this little verse, is going out to you.
your death was the story of my greatest woe
just remember i loved you, my sweet little bro.

My Wife

honey please don't blame me, it was not of my will.
i didn't know that all you did was eat a sleeping pill.
and if i could, please know, that you i would revive
for i am truly sorry that we buried you alive.
