Have You ever been in LOVE??

its hard to tell the diff. especially at a younger age. but when its love, you just know, like you get a feeling when you see them that says, " icould be with him/her forever" and you can do things other than fool around, but still have fun. thats the main thing. if you cant have fun without fooling around, its lust most likely. but love, idk, you just, KNOW i guess.

Love is something that will never hurt you. You will be able to trust that person. There is a quote, and it goes like this.

"Love is giving a person the oppurtunity to hurt you, but trusting them that they never will"

If you can trust someone that much, to give them thast chance, and they don't hurt you, but love you back. You know it's real love.

Lust will always hurt you. Lust leaves doubt in your mind for a better future. If you don't see a future, you know it's not meant to be. If you see the relationship going someone, it may be love.

Love takes time. Love grows.

i agree with darien as well...i think that love takes time, and that the more you learn about each other, the more you love each other...lust is just spur of the moment, but love really lasts...cliche, but i think it's true

love... well it all feels the same- the infatuation, the attraction, that heady feeling... yes, it all feels like love at a tender age and i completely agreed with ash. love is when you know he's the one come what may...the focal point of your life, the centre of attention deep in your mind, his thoughts circling round and round in your head and the more you resist, the more you fall...

can't argue with the reality fact that most of the times the ill fated relations feel the same as well and that love is certainly a fortune you must be blessed with and be prepared to accept it with the dose of reality too but at the end of the day he is THE ONE for you. you are inspired by him, grown by him, made a better person by him and he guides you through your tough times...

you just know deep down that he is the god sent for you, no matter what reality might portray! and his love teaches you patience, devotion, trust and strength.. its your love that he projects ultimately... and you are warm and secured in that one truth of your life. love is eternal and a god's gift. we are too naive to ever decipher it but it inspires you to always move on and be better by each passing day.

You know it's love if it is mainly or entirely an emotional relationship and not solely based on the physical aspect of things.

Remember, lust IS that physical part.

Also, there is a higher level of comfort and trust between people who are in love.

If you love someone and they love you back, you should be able to talk about ANYTHING and be around them under any circumstance and still be comfortable and free of embarassment.

I wish it wasnt love, but it was and ended up in lust

That to me is how you can explain love....in the end...you just know.

its hard to describe love as it comes in so many different ways and is different for each different person.. i guess you can only really determine if its love or lust by past relationships, expereience, your feelings and what makes your world so much more better with them in it... xxoo.. @)---
