A confused girl PLEASE HELP!!!!

Im 16 and i have feelings for this guy named luke and hes 21. i met him through my sister, he was her neighbor and worked with her and when i started to hang out with my sister again luke and i started to build a relationship. I would see him about 4 times a week and we would send text messages back and forth to each other and stuff like that then he moved back in with his mom and i havent seen him in 5 weeks and 3 days but we talk on the phone everyday until recently he would stop calling me and i tryed to call him but no answer and then when we did talk on the phone it seemed to me that he never listened to what i had to say and he would ask why im not talking and i just told him about my day. and he will get mad if i talk to other guys but he can tell me that he flirts with his boss and tells me that he needs to take his little nephew to a store so he can pick up some girls. and yet i tell him how i feel about him and he tells me he feels the same but i dout the way he feels for me. Now recently i have been talking to this other guy named Joey and he is the sweetest guy I've ever met.NO JOKE. he always makes me feel good about myself and when i tell him about luke he always says something to make me feel loved, like he cares about me and stuff. he listens to me and he has taken an interest in my poems and he makes me laugh non stop. we've only met once and we talked on the phone quite a few times and we plan to met up again in a couple of days. i like joey but i also like luke what should i do? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GRATELY APPRICIATED!!

luke, first of all, sounds awfully old and may just need someone closer to his age that he can relate to a bit more... but then again age isn't everything... right now, luke sounds like a jerk... joey sounds wonderful... i always go for the sweet guys that make you feel good, that's what you need and deserve... a guy who can make you feel good about yourself... see, everything you explained wouldn't confuse me at all, the answer is clear to me... go for joey... but like someone said (i think it was the first post after urs), don't make your intentions very eminent... sort of test the waters before you jump in, and definitely make sure you're friends before anything else. good luck!

Luke sounds like a dick (excuse my language). Just forget about him. He's too old anyways. He apparently doesn't know how to treat a girl. I agree with all of the above posts. Go with Joey. He sounds sweet. He sounds like the type of guy who wants to commit to being in a relationship. Don't make a mistake and choose a jerk over a sweet guy. Just take things slow. Good luck.

I cant help but be confused because one day he will talk all nice to me and be in a great mood then the next he will be all crappy asking me 100 questions like what took me soo long to answer the phone after the 2nd ring or he would ask who im with all the time. But hes never like this when we hung out together just over the phone.

If I were you, I'd choose Joey. You deserve to be with someone who makes you happy... someone who actually CARES. And besides, Luke is 21, chances are, he's not going to want to have a real relationship with you, since you are 5 years younger than him and still in highschool to say the least... I know a lot of people (including me) say that age is nothing but a number, but it actually is more than that...

Think of it this way: (These are all based on assumptions, so if I'm way wrong, I'm sorry... I don't know the guy) Okay, so he's 21, chances are he has been with a lot of women.. And if he has, what do you think would be his main focus on having a relationship with you? My assumption would be sex... A lot of guys like younger girls, because they are more naive and vulnerable than older, more mature girls (Sorry, not dissing you and saying you aren't mature, just being general)... And it's easy for them to manipulate younger girls to have intercourse with them, because they are so suave and know "all the tricks in the book" so to say...

Now, I don't know if Joey is the same age as Luke, but it doesn't matter, because Joey really seems to be interested in you. Go for the one that makes you happy...

Joey is 21 also but is more responsible and mature than Luke. Luke will call and ask where im at and with who, but we do communicate almost everyday but only for a short amount of time and he will say that he will call back in a minute but never does and before i can say bye hes already hung up on me..Joey we talk probably one or twice a week and stuff..but he seems more happy to talk/see me than Luke is. Its confusing because i can never tell how luke actually feels about me and Joey i can clearly tell..and Luke keeps telling me that i need to get rid of my attitude(i dont have an attitude) and he tells me if i dont get rid of it that he will put a stop to "us"..so i question his feelings..

Sweetie, I would be very carefull with Luke. Remember that he is 21 and although you guys haven't done anything wrong it is a dangerous game. Maybe that is why he is staying away! Find someone of your own age!! I think this relationship with Luke is just not a healthy one!!

Hes not stayen away because of my age thats the first thing we talked about when we first started seeing each other and we are both perfectly fine with it but all of a sudden hes being weird

joey does sound a lot more mature. for both of the guys, though, you just have to be sure to ask yourself what they might be seeing in a girl so much younger than them. personality, hopefully... but it's hard to tell. If joey is the gentleman he sounds like he could be, he might want to take it easy with you, just to be safe. but luke doens't sound worth your time and emotions. go with what you feel is right

What I'm saying is that it is a very dangerous game for him. If something happens between the two of you, he'll be the one spending time in prison for having sex with a minor. That is what bothers me!!

Go with Joey and forget the other guy. Obviously for Luke it's just a game to fill up his time but it seems as if Joey is a real gentleman and there's not many of those left. Hold on to him (joey).

^ and you guys aren't even dating. If you were, he'd probubly be much more controlling and you don't deserve that. Just live your life.
