a death in the family

yeah i have too. i had a dog who was still a puppy that died of a brain tumor. it was hard and i think some people think its dumb cuz its just a pet. but they are part of the family too!

yeah i lost my dog... he died... his name was tarzan... he was healthy and everything.. nothing was wrong... except that he was too healthy... my grandfather killed and ate him.. :(

I had a kitten who died too. I could, and have written a really long thing just about how much I miss my sweet Butterscotch (the kitten was orange) and how much I miss him... Butterscotch followed me, would only let me per him, and loved corners. Such a cute kitten, he got hit by a care while I was out to breakfast...

I'm a curse to cats I like. They're constantly running away and dying while I'm not around, I refuse to become atached to any cat any more... And I don't like dogs, so they're safe from me if it's a general pet curse.

ye, my big fat cat. I remember taking him to the vet for the last time and telling him everything would be ok and we were going to go home after this. i loved him so much

THEY BE GOOD TO THROW IN TEH AIR AND SHOOT LIKE CLAY PIDGEONS. IT IS MUCH FUN. YES YE SYES. I LOVE ALL MY KITTENS. ESPECAILLY THE ONES WHO GAVE THEIR LIFE FOR ME TO BECOME A BETTER MARKSMAN OR A BETTER CHEF.

yes I have lost my dog last nov. her name was sandy she was my best friend she was 10 days away from 15 when we had to put her to sleep that was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life for she was like a child to us and we miss her everyday.

I once lost my kitty, named Sylvester. He looked so much like the cartoon character, it was crazy.

my two rats, charlotte and clover, one died of a tumor, and the other died shortly after that.
my cat died of kidney failure.
thats recently anyway.

All the cats that I have ever had has either ran away or died.

aw, poor kitty. that's really sad. especially since she was just a little kitten. never had a chance at a full life.

I had a dog that died. We got him when he was a year old. The only one he really took to was my brother. Door left open, the dog just took off. found on the highway the next morning. very sad.

When I was younger, I had my first experience with death waking up one morning to find our gerbil stiff and lifeless. I mean, we had our cats put to sleep because they were older, but I never had to see it. it was eery. even something that small. the idea of it's body still being here, but it's life not in it, has never left me.

it sounds kind of silly to suppose one's death anxiety comes from a gerbil. but I like the simplicity of it. hmm...PLOT BUNNY!

My grandmothers cat scooter got hit by a car... he was named scooter because hed been hit when he was a kitten and broke his leg. you think he would learn but he got out and got hit by a car again...

Ijust lost my rabbit yesterday :'(

Ive lost 4 cats.. one had a urinary obstruction...he diedvery slow and painfully...and 3 were hit by cars...one died in my arms, it was heartbreaking. I've lost alot of hampsters too and I had to give away my dog, but i have a new cat and a new dog now, and they're sweethearts:)
