A poem is a feeling. It is what you feel and that is what you going to write, If i don't have the feelings I never can write a word.

well said goran well said .. my kind of writing is depend on my heart if im sad i just jot down anything that i think on a note then i put it with rhymes and then that it is a poem if you have no feelings for the poem you made that was not a poem that was just a letter ..

I think it has been very well sumed up, it is all about the way you feel at the moment, without feelings, you really can't write poetry for all poetry has emotion in someway, shape or form.

Feeling is deffinatly one of my major sources, but it is also what is happening around me at the time. being to look not only within your feelings but also things hapening around you that you dont really pay attention to.

Whenever i decide to write, and that's in my own time, i just let words flow (yes, that is corny!). If I'm writing online I write the poem and THEN sellect which category it fits into. Just find one opening sentance and hopefully more will come after that.

I write as many words/sentences/ideas of different kinds and then later I would think of knitting them into a poem..

You write a poem how ever it comes to you. Some times it just come to you like your fillings for some one can come out of no where.

most of the time i'm struck with a sentence or subject that just HAS to be written down or it won't leave my head, and the words flow easily from there.
