Irreparably

Wasting paper,
Wasting tears,
Wasting ink on you,
I know like I knew before,
Your love is for me no more.
I wasted a heart that was once so free,
To taste a piece of the passions that used to bind me.
But at the same time that you made it known,
At the same time that you set me free,
You also broke me,
Irreparably.

Your handiwork is a maze of scars,
Raging over my heart,
Those last words pierced me,
Like a bullseye and the dart...
Those last words broke my now free,
lonely heart apart.

Well, this might be fitting... um, I wrote it about a crush I had a LONG time ago... and how I let that love go because it became so foolish.
Oh well.
