What are some of the most important things in a relationship?

I want to know what are some of the most important things to have in a relationship to you...

Personally, I don't think you can have a solid, loving relationship without friendship... i think friendship comes first, you cannot build a relationship without first having a friendship... it's like the foundation to me... the foundation of a building, you can't build a sturdy building without first having a nice foundation to build it on. Let's hear your opinions now!

I think friendship & trust are very important. If you can't trust someone then probably would be so much harder to have a relationship with that person.

TRUST.
from a girl's perspective, not sex...because it seems most guys are crappy in bed.

- Respect
- Loyalty
- Trust
- Communication
- Chemistry
- Friendship (As you stated, it's the foundation of a healthy relationship)
- Maturity
- Acceptance (Accepting that no one's perfect, even your boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife/etc.)
- Faith
- Strength (For the obstacles that inevitably come in our lives)
- Fun
- Attraction (In at least some way)
- Compassion
- Compromise

Those are the ones that I can think of just now. There are many more, but they are mostly just sub-catagories. These are in no particular order, so pay no mind to the order.

i agree with punksunite def communication comes first then the rest.

i say TRUST above all. because with trust, friendship will come along with that. then once ur friends, communication kicks in, and u talk more. then the chemistry adds up with the conversation, and once romance starts up, it builds up more trust again. and talks are more personal. then its whether the chemistry is right. and everyone knows to respect each other.
