Whats Ur Favorite type Of Poems!

I like sad poems because I can relate and they have a lot of emotion but I also love the old english style poems they are so beautiful!

Dark. going through my list. even the so called 'inspirational' and other categories lean toward the dark side. it fascinates me. even when I'm happy and completely content. it fascinates me, because I'm so afraid of it. it's like, something that I know "this is important" "I must react to this" that's my favorite type of poems to write.

to read:
I usually go to the 'dark' 'sad' 'life' and 'funny' quote sections for inspiration.

If I'm bored then I usually just go through the sad, life, dark or love section. =/ that's alot, really. Anywho, But I like lots of poems, It's too hard for me to decide what I like most. Lol..

I love Dark Poems! Though, my dark poems are stories, just read my Death and Death (Part Two). Dark to me is mostly fanasty, no whining about how horrible your life is in the Sad Poems. And mushy Love Poems (though I have written a few myself *wink*) and the others... I dunno. Dark Poems.

I love reading any good poem, doesn't matter whether it's love, friendship, sad, inspirational etc etc If they do not get my attention in the first couple of lines I tend to not finish reading them

I like a variety of poems, I tend to write more love poems but I like the variety in others :)

love poems defenitely because they always hit close to home, seeing as ive been in so many love situations!

any that are from the heart and seriously meaningful will hit home to most people.
i love the ones that make you feel like you know the writer a little more even though you may never have met them.

I like them all I guess, except profanity..

i acuttlay love like all of them , because theres like soo many sides to me , like one second , i could be reading a funny poem,then a sad one.Or a one about love.

I like reading all poetry, well almost all. My favorite is nature poetry or funny poems. What a wide variety. Robert Frost or Shel Silverstein. My, my, my which one would I choose.

ide have to say that love poems are my favourite or ones about friends.
but some sad ones can be lovely too!
however i do prefer poems that rhyme because i find it easier to read them =]

i like funny stupid ones that either make way no sense or the way funnny ones that are really random and just hilarious even if they dont make sense either.... and then my all time fav are of course the sad and depressed ones. the ones that make you think and almost wanna cry cuz you can relate.

to me love poems are gay and you need to get over yourslef. sorry. just kidding sorta. umm, i dunno. w/e

When Writing, my favorite stuff is always depressing. Gawd knows why.
When reading, I like light hearted suff with a touch of humour and a pinch of landscape ;)

My favorite topic is poems about life. I think of them as insirational, because I write about my experiences and hope that ppl won't do the same thing I did. I try to steer ppl in the right direction.

It really depends on my mood
or the mood I wish to be in.
For I find poetry to be mood altering.
As long as the poems have rhythm and or rhyme
I enjoy them.
(free verse,great as long as it has rhythm)

like mark said, it matters what mood im in, usually i prefer love poems, but i read any, i really dont care for funny poems but i do read them.

I love to read! I read everything. Myself my favorite are the love poems. I write depressing. I get to enjoy so many because I read to my grandbabies and have started reading them alot of Frank Maguires works on nature. He brings things to life for them. Poetry is a love for most of my family members. We grew up with my mother reading alot to us and we have carried it on.

For me it has to be depression or poems about lost or secret love.
Just because I can relate to them more. =]
