Gerr. Sometimes my friend can make me so mad!

Okay well shes at basketball camp. and i was supposed to go but i dont have enough money so i didnt. well i was talking to this guy on the phone who was a coach and hes like what position(i play sometimes a guard and a wing.if you know what that means lol.) and im like well guard. and i was just about to say wing too. and my friends like not huh Kendyl you liar. and it was so embarrassing because i know basketball and shes like just totally made me seem like i know nothing. why do friends do that to you sometimes? its really embarrassing. how can i make her stop?

Maybe because she thought she was helping, or becuase she thought it was funny, or she could've been jealous that you know stuff about basketball, or she just wasn't in a good mood. Lots of different reasons too. If you want her to stop I think that you should sit her down and talk to her face to face about it. Tell her what she does and how you feel about it. If she's a good friend she will listen and try to stop doing that. But do it in a honest and nice way. Don't corner her and start yelling at her or anything. Just sit her down and talk to her.

i guess it depends on her personality and if she is the sort of competetive type... Its amazing to see how different people can be but still be friends... ive really noticed that... or maybe ur friend just said it but didnt know she was gonna hurt u in the process... yeah it could have been a joke or maybe not...my advice tell her that u didnt like that... talking makes relationships of all kinds so much deeper and meaningful... xxoo
