New poem, feedback wanted

Hello everyone! I posted a new poem yesterday, and I would really appreciate some feedback. It's called "An American Sonnet", but don't let the title mislead you;)

As always, no offense intended at any single person; I just write what I feel. Please let me know what you think, even if you hated it, and I would be more than happy to comment on your poems, as well.
