Recently I've been dealing with a lot of different emotions, things that happened which were harder than I expected.... I want so badly to be able to write what I feel...but it's like I have nothing to say..yet so many things are bubbling up inside...

does anyone have any tips for writers block to go away?
or how to improve poetry in general?

Try and calm ur mind for a minute. Turn off music and lay still and block out surounding sounds as much as u can. Then try to think about all tht happened...think about it all til you feel an emotion...then grab a piece of paper and write wht ever comes to mind. Then you can make changes later on if you want.

go some where away from people... (by a river, lake, forest, deserted road ect) just sit there and take every day things out of your head so its you and nature only. idk works for me when i can't write. the words just flow to my pencil when i do it... lol maybe it will work for you to. .. but i go sit on the grainery out back and watch the sun fall behind the trees... lol

Get out of your usual environment, and do something that you have never tried before... that usually works for me.
Or else read a book... you can grab some ideas while you're out it.

Put lots of paper around, but no pens... hahah, that always gets me itching to write.
The other thing that always gets me going is to get a clear notebook that doesn't have any writing in it at all, not even a scribble, and a brand new pen full to the brim with ink. I just lay them there, and look at them. There's something about the crisp, unmarred paper, and the untouched pen----
Ahhggg, I just HAVE to write!!

yer, i know the feeling of continuous bubbling thoughts however your pen wont seem to come up with anything! lol. i would have a break, think about what to write for a few days. think about what your going through. after collecting your thoughts, the pens ink might suddenly appear on that blank page.

and if u can't write about those sentences straight away, put them somewhere, and come back to them later. =)
