    Here's the challenge, pretty simple.

Write a haiku that has to do with Poets.

    Pseudo-Poetic Prisonmind (Senryu)

    Passion with a doubt
Mindless - what does freedom mean?
    Spewing pointless thoughts.

    itle: Haikus

    I am falling deep
    In love with writing haikus;
    They capture my heart

    Everytime I set
    My pencil to paper I
    Drown in the splendid

    Freedom of having
So few words escape from me.
    I do love haikus.

    Each stanza is as
    Strange as tomorrow's moon,
    Yet I continue

    To inspire my
Brain to come up with words so late
    At night; I just love

    Haikus and how they
Make no sense, but perfect sense.
    This is my new crush.

    Haiku I

    Depthless, the oceans,
    eternal, the golden shores
    where lost ones linger.

    Haiku II

    The path of poets,
    both bitter and beautiful.
    Even silence speaks

    I can't pen haikus,
    they taunt and vex completely.
    Maybe not now though.

    That was indeed sweet,
The humour brought a real smile.
    Thanks Bret, that was good!

    Bob stole my thunder,
with eyes of a proof reader.
    Time to make lightning.

    "Bob stole my thunder,

    Saw six syllables,
    Assumed you were just joking.
    I feel silly now.

    My eyes deceive me,
    I see no sixth syllable
    But it is early.

    Oh, we're having fun...
    You'd better believe it...yes!
    Whilst writing haikus!

    I'm a tad hungover
A few less tots of vodka
    Would have me smiling.

  • Bret Higgins

    I told you before
    I have trouble with haikus
    for no good reason.

    Now I feel better
    I am able to display
    five syllables now

    Geez, six syllables,
    I thought I was hungover,
    stumbles back to bed.
