The JFK thing really set the theorists off, didn't it? It was the point in our history where we (as a world, not as Americans or whatever) stopped trusting our government to tell the truth about the really important things. I think we'd mostly accepted that politicians had a tendency to lie, but JFK... it was at a point where media powers were starting to cloud a governments ability to be deceitful, and as a result the very notion that the President could have been murdered by a number of entities for a variety of reasons left the general public wondering who in Hell (sic) you could trust. |

A friend of mine pointed out that "JFK" as said in the manner of 1st grade kids is "juh fuh kuh", which said repeatedly and quickly comes out as "Jafucka" which sounds like "D'ya fuck 'er?" |
