so confused...

my boyfriend says he loves me, yet he has an obsession over anime chix, one especially...today he debated me and her, like comparing us. then he said he didnt know which one he liked better...im really sad and dont know what to do, he constantly gets mad at me for having depressional mood swings like he doesnt know why im having them in the first place...now im forced to pretend to b happy (note: we dont c each other often so its mostly an online relationship) what do i do?

this is really kind of an awkward thing for me to have to say, but i'm not really sure if he's okay -- let alone good enough for you if he's comparing you to a drawing and not sure if he likes you more than her. Make him see what makes you REAL, not a piece of paper. If he can't already see that, you need to leave him alone with his drawing and find yourself someone who will treat you like a real person.

He sounds like a jerk to me. If he's attracted to an anime girl, well then whatever floats his boat I guess. But to tell you he is comparing you to a cartoon, and he doesn't know who likes better? Seriously, there's something wrong there. Personally I wouldn't even bother with him, I recommend moving on.

Well if this were just about him liking anime i would say it's no big deal, but he's comparing you to a drwaing. Okay, that's just wrong. If he is trying to choose between his g/f and a drawing, and can't, that's not good. You need to sit him down and tell him how you feel. Tell him if he's going to compare you to a drawing, it's not going to work out between you two. You can do better. Good luck.
