im talkin w/ this guy from another site im on and when my mom found out she flipped! i mean its not like were givin out obber personal info, we only know eachothers first names! and not to mention he lives in canada! whats the big deal?!
what do you guys think?

She may be worried that you might start trying to see each other...she may have misunderstood.

I think every parent will have concerns about who thier children are talking to online.. I know I do with mine.. but I trust mine to be sensible and try to monitor the best I can who they are talking to.. however I'm not sure how old this bloke is that You have been chatting to.. I know that if I found my daughter nearly 14 talking to any person over the age of 17 I would flip out too.. we can't help but worry xx

Your mom might be worried that he will come and take u away from her and try to do things that he's not supposed to do and then she will blame her self for letting u see him.

i think she is just being a mother, its what they do take care of us whether we see it like that or not. the internet is a wonderful yet dangerous place it makes you quiet vunrable really. your mother is simply looking out for you as she sees the dangers and you dont cause like you put it hes in canada but hey that doesnt matter at all. you hear all the time on the news that pedos and pervs are using new ways to capture victims and please do not mistake what i have just said. im not in any way suggesting that he is!!! im just giving you my opinion at the end of the day takecare mel xxx
