They stuck needles in my eyes,
    They do not care,
    They do not have any
    Mercy to spare.
They stuck tubes in my veins,
    And pumped me with ice,
    They do not care,
They do not hear my screams.
    I didn't cry,
    Not once,
    Not a tear,
    Even when they branded me,
    With fire-covered fear.
They stuck needles in my eyes,
And my eyelids did not shut,
    I screamed a loud,
    I shouted a lot.
    I called them names,
    It's all the same,
    I begged them for mercy,
    They do not care.
    They finished and left,
    They are no longer here.
They stuck tubes in my veins,
    And pumped me with ice,
I remember as they pondered what to do to me next,
    As they rolled the dice.
    It landed on six,
    And they rolled it again,
    It landed on four,
I want this pain no more.
    They left the needles in,
And I cannot take them out,
    They were already gone,
They did not hear my shout.
    I took a knife,
    To my own veins,
    And from them drank,
    The frothing ice.
    I felt numb,
    And was at peace.
    I floated, it seemed,
    So far away,
    I do not care,
    What you say...
For they stuck needles in my eyes,
    They want me to die.
    I stood outside,
    In the pouring rain,
    I only want an end,
    To all this pain.

*This poem was inspired by my dentophobia (severe fear of dentists) and because of that fear I am caught within a raging toothache...plus the added fear that the pain will overwhelm me and I will have to go and face the epicenter of my phobia, once and for all.
I do not expect this to reach any status at all, but it's the darkest that I have ever written.

    My Guardian Angel

I stand here protected, as one guarded child.
I sit alone safely, where nothing is wild.
Never been in danger, never in harm's way.
and all of life's challenges, waited at bay.

i have always been happy, for I've never felt pain.
my angel stands by me through sun snow and rain.
she is always smiling. and a smile she receives.
she tricks enemies away, or is it me she deceives?

I have always been guarded, and so never in fear.
and I stay locked up always, year after year.
have not seen a human, for she said they are bad
and even though i am healthy, i remain sad.

have i been missing out, is there much more to life,
could i someday have children and maybe a wife?
I must see it for myself, no longer can i wait.
i must be fragile, for fear is a human trait.

i wanted the experience, yet she locked me in.
i tried to run away, but she will always win.
I'm stuck here forever, i cry through the night.
and for the first time ever, i am feeling fright.

so long's gone by now, i still am stuck here.
i now cry every night, for real life is so near.
but here i shall stay, until my final breath.
so is she My Guardian Angel, or my Angel of Death.

Child of the Night [Ottava Rima]

All the angels ignore my howling plead,
Sending death's kiss in a pink rose bouquet.
Grave dug on hells turf, ready to proceed,
At the sun set on my very last day.
My blood squeezed from my eyes, tears to concede,
As this hunger inside me fades away.
Left in a wooden cage to suffocate,
Death consumes me as I disintegrate.

They used to call me the ‘child of the night’
    Forever bathed in misery’s presence.
Not a human but a demon of plight
A beast feeding on world pain in essence
My tongue took the melancholy of light.
And the innocence in me now lessens,
Burning prey with smoke from my father’s hand
I’m the devil’s daughter, the child of man...

    Ghostly White Eyes
    by ♥ Jєѕѕу ♥

    Sitting all alone
Tied up in a dark room
    Struggling to reach the phone
    Waiting to meet her doom..

    She lets out a cry
    But is heard by none
Oh how I wish I could fly
Oh, please god, just let me run..

    A hooded figure walks in
A knife is what is held
He is going to enjoy committing this sin
And the effort of being repelled..

He looks at her pale face
    Her eyes blackened with fear
This he wants agony to replace
As he brings the blade near..

    Screaming with pain
As again and again he slices
    Making her slowly go insane
Her body left to its own devices..

    She pleads and she begs
    But he does not listen
Slowly carving flesh from her legs
The scarlet blood starting to glisten..

    He looks around with satisfaction
And closes her now ghostly white eyes
He prods her bloody skin but finds no reaction
And leaves this place to be haunted by her deathly cries..

    Tide Of Misfortune

Castle of sand beneath the dirt of my feet
ruining the dreams of tide to wash it away
the only thing i called my own with pride
reconstructing again in my nightmares everyday

wounded heart with the passion of endless sky
embracing my soul to keep it as red as wine
eyes have blinked at the very moment of glory
and the strange desires for life are no more mine

do you know, somethings just never change
in a world where air is bound by endless pain
faces look strange but destiny remains the same
in a world where there is nothing for us to gain

castle of dreams beneath the kiss of misery
breathing heavily to live for one more day
inside a fragile soul there is still a hope to see
the tide of misfortune turning the other way

    My Theater

So nice to have you all today
welcome to my theater of dream
ride hell while watching my play
but be silent when i scream

now that you have entered my territory
its time for you paint my dreams come true
these tears won't shed for free
bleeding smile we yet have to go through

tonight these black curtains would fall
and our souls will fly high
if something to be heard, that will be my final call
and then we all will feel, what is there after we die

i am so glad to have you all with me
welcome to my theater of dream
this is the place you were supposed to be
so respect my agony when i scream

one by one visit my gallowspole
its time for you paint my dreams come true
if something to be heard, that will be my final call
bleeding smile we yet have to go through

    shivering to live
    from this cold sun

    "A kid again"
    by Wings of an Angel

Her mind so lost, her skin so pale.
How could this go wrong, where did she fail?
Running away from a violent home,
Leaving nothing, no note, or the number to her phone.
Her dad used to hit her, she couldn't take it anymore,
She would never go back, live that life, she was sure.
She ran and she ran, anywhere but here,
Beginning a new life, living every day in fear.
Finding a nice man, and got her own little girl,
Until she found his dark side, perfect was her world.
She tries to stop him, but he just won't quit,
he beat up his child, because she wouldn't fit.
The little girl bleeds, crying her last tear,
The mother tied up, meeting her worst, cold fear.
The man she used to love, was going so damn wild,
Punching and kicking, his own little child.
"Stop it, stop it, take me instead"
the mother cries to the man, fearing her own child dead.
He looks crazy, as he looks at his wife,
He goes to the kitchen, gets a knife.
"Shut up, or Ill kill her!" loud he screams,
He looks so cold, she wonders if its just her dreams.
He smiles his as the little girl prayer's her last amen.
He runs the knife over her troath, and the womans feels like just a kid again.

    My Angel of Darkness

Come to me my angel from the black,
If you've come to take my soul, I don't want it back.
The tides are changing; soon I'll just be a memory,
A picture is the only way anyone will remember me.

My angel of darkness, what is my sin?
What made you appear? What made this begin?
Was I a bad girl, or didn't live my life out?
I can honestly say I know I lived my life in doubt.

My dark angel, will I get wings like you?
So I can fly around hell, and get a good view-
Of the fires burning below, so very hot,
For when I get there, that'll be all I got.

My angel of darkness, thank you for being here,
Now take me away before I fill with fear.
Can I write a note for my family or is it too late?
Oh well, let's go then, dying alone is my fate.

Something That Had to be Done
    By: Jordan (TheMisanthrope)

    Blindfolded...

I walk slowly toward the anger that has manifested itself in front of me.

    Shadowed by my present days...

    Forsaken in a thousand ways,

I shudder at the (fore)sight of your
    up-and-coming cacophonic death.

(Screaming as the wound tears into the deep, dark abyss that is your flesh)

I can smell the sweat on your brow. I don't even need to see the look of terror that is whiped all over your face.

This blindfold proves to be nothing but a translucent cloth, symbolizing my strengths and your weaknesses.

    This is the end, dear.

    The end.

    Nothing can be reversed.

You failed and now I will complete the failure.

    Barrel's raised. Loaded. Cocked.

Goodbye. Try not to be so pathetic in your afterlife.

And remember. I will always love you.

If this isn't dark enough, let me know...maybe I can scrounge something else up.

    ~Calling all Ravens~

    Calling all Ravens
    The time has come
    Spread your wings
    And begin the feast.
    Corpses on the grown
    Gather around
    Calling all Ravens,
    The time is now.
    No need to fight
    The humans have
    Done that for you,
    Bow your heads
    Before you begin
    To eat.
    Say a raven prayer
For so much to go around
    Humans and their wars
    No need to complain
    Fill your stomach
This is your time to feast.
    Calling all Ravens
    Dawn is arising
    The flesh is gone
    The bones
    Are torn,
    Calling all Ravens
    You had your fun
    Spread your wings
And wait for the next feast.

    here is one.

    Dreaming

She perches on a bridge arms stretched high
Ignoring the murmurings of passers by
She leaps into space as if she can fly
    And she falls

She dives down deep into the blue sea
She swims deeper though burning her lungs may be
Down and down she swims, gliding smooth and free
    And she drowns

She lights a burning pyre, and the flames touch the sky
She watches the smoke spiralling on high
She steps up onto the fuel, brittle and dry
    And she burns

She murmurs and rustles in her heavy sleep
A scarred arm slides out under the white sheet
In her mind are images of sky, flames and water deep
    And she dreams

like a fire from the heavens
    staining angel wings
    Like the dead unfeeling cold
    tempting corpses to sing

Like venomous kisses of a vampire
    sucking life from precious veins
    Like eternal shriveled blackness
    filled with crimson rain

Like the howl of the weeping moon
    squirming inside a werewolf's cry
Or two eyes glowing in your head
    initiating a wish to die

Like bleeding knives of broken hearts
    trembling in disguise
The world falls to perpetual dark,
    blind to its demise

    forsworn demons with tattered souls
drown in pools of crimson tears
    while people cower all around
    prisoners to their fears

Pale white faces fade to dust
    driven by despair
    Ghostly whispers fill my mind
    glaring faces everywhere

    Echos from the darkest realm
Swallow down a world of sins
But all the while they increase
    taunting worries from within

the end had come, the end of light
let the dead bid us away
Not even the strongest overcome this fight
We're all left to wander astray

    Moon shadows
    by Silhouette, of something unimaginable

    A whisper from above
    creeping slowly,
    silently,
    in a dark shadow

    roaming, in wonder,
    the land never traveled
    he finds a maiden
    drains her and continues

    silent in the night
    he walks,
    with no destination
    never in the same place

    traveling through darkness
with the moon as his sun
    no dame is safe
    not while he travels

to many he is a man
but to all he is a murderer
    never awake at day
    only at night

    traveling in the shadows
    created by our moon
    haunting, hunting,
no one sleeps in the moon shadows

    Decadent Soldiers

Go forth ye soldiers, who sunshine craves
Upon the land strip mother earth
Plunder and rape the maiden, fair of face
With her blood and body, quench thy thirst.
Draw battle lines upon the ground
And feast ye upon thy brethren host
As clashing swords and victory sound
Spear thy son's and daughter's ghost.

Take heed thy lovers of the day
And draw a bath of bitter wine
Bathe the demons who has come to play
Among the heathens lost in time.
Slay Satan's foes with a single stance
And watch as fallen angels pray
    Take thy victims sorrowed dance
And pull them crying into decay.

Seek not ye penance for thy deeds
Nor sift among the ashen purge
But praise the eyes of Satan's greed
And grasp the pungent wilted curse
Then hardened soldiers slink back into
The barren chaos, from which ye came
As festering maggots invade the tombs
Of soulless victims of the Devil's Reign.

    The Tale Of A Werewolf

    Light turns to shadows
    As day turns to night
    My presence is unknown
I must stay out of sight

    I grow steadily weary
    The time is drawing near
Slowly I am filled with dread
I start to shake with fear

    I stumble to a room
    Lock myself in tight
There's no way I can escape
    There'll be no killings tonight

    Suddenly the changes start
    In agony I scream
This is way too much to bear
I wish this were a dream

    The pain finally stops
I slowly rise to my feet
    Power surges through my body
I'm a beast that knows no defeat

    I race around the room
Frantically searching for a way out
    Frustration grows inside me
    Until I want to shout

A howl comes from my throat
I hurl myself at the door
    I will not be trapped
    I never have been before

    The door splinters on impact
    Joyously I howl
I jump through an open window
    To begin my midnight prowl

    I race through the woods
The full moon leading the way
    The thirst for blood surges
    I must find my prey

A smell drifts through the air
    Unmistakably fresh
    I run in that direction
Towards the scent of human flesh

    Mad with desire
    I fly through the night
    I come to a camp
    Killing everyone in sight

    In the morning I awaken
In my human form once again
I realize I'm in the woods
And my head begins to swim

    I take in my surroundings
    Gasping at the sight
The ground is covered with blood
I shudder as I remember the night

    Sorrow fills my body
    Tears fall down my face
    Knowing that I must leave
    I vanish without a trace

    The Sun's Failing Doom

    Heaven blazes our eyes,
    We stand still in sacrifice,
    Autumn sings her lullaby,
We take it in as Heaven cries.

The sun sings a mournful tune,
    He shines over butterfully tombs.
    Darkness arises with the coming moon;
He's the reason for the sun's failing doom.

The stars gather around in surprise,
They watch aghast as the sun quickly hides,
They watch closely as the moon comes to defy,
Witnessing silently as the burning sun dies.

Now, this is what I consider a dark poem like you want...If it's not, tell me and I will withdraw.

    Like Unto A Leopard

Upon a throne of blood, my guardian resides
In desperate isolation, he tailors my disguise
I think I'm being bred to be the anti-christ

Like unto a leopard, the prophecy indites
The second coming usurps after the first has died
Upon a throne of blood, my guardian resides

With all outward appearances as of one beatified
Timid and helpless, and passionately untried
I think I'm being bred to be the anti-christ

Everybody wants to be different, to walk the thin lines
Between changing the world, and rearranging your mind
Upon a throne of blood, my guardian resides

Escape into the world, I am shaken by a heist
Of my ideals, and stolen from my kind
Upon a throne of blood, my guardian resides
I think I'm being bred to be the anti-christ

    Where to Go
    by Sarah Drew

    The world is falling apart
    Mountains turning to rumble
    Oceans drying up

You are running out of oxygen
What are you going to do
    As the world falls apart

You are the only one here
Where is the rest of the world
    There is no life anywhere

    It's you against everything else
There is no where to run
There is no where to hide

    The world is no more
    You are slowly dying
Your lungs are about to explode

You feel your heart beats faster
As it runs out of blood to pump
    You are in a panic

It's the end of the world
    You are totally alone
    Everyone else has already gone

    Your body is numb
    You are so cold
    You fall to your knees

    With your last gasping breath
    You watch in disbelief
As the world turns into dust

    Beast of White

    Shifting mists through the sea,
    Upon the beach whitest beast,
Snorting through the cold of night,
Where the tide shall never cease,

Hooves of black pound the sand,
    And canters through the dark,
    He only comes through midnight,
    And leaves on sunshine's ark,

    The power in his head,
    That swings with his tail,
His mane flys through the sky,
Lifting then falling to the frail,

    He calls with a whinney,
    His head strikes the moon,
    Forever searching for his home,
Waiting for the day he sees so soon,

Thoughts strike his head and heart,
So he flings his head in the air,
Pulls his tail between his legs,
And flys with wings of fair,

His legs gallop through the mist,
Across the ocean he grows wings,
He leaps into the dark of sky,
And the last is the song he sings.
