Don't force yourself to write anything. Just wait for the right inspiration to come, and when it does; you will know it.

If your minds blank then you have to wait for it to hit you in the face otherwise you'll never be able to write because you don't have anything to write.
Sometimes you just have to wait for the right words to come to you because chasing them doesn't do any good.

What I would sugest you do is to write in a specific form, format, that provides structure and specific requirements as in the meter (number of syllables per line), rhythm, rhyme scheme, and such and alike. That way you're working from line to line. Once you got that first line, you work on the next corresponding line and so on, till the poem is done. And if you took the time to make sure each line was perfect and in correspondence with the lines that preceeded it, came before, then your poem will be perfect.

when u want to write a poem just do so when u have to, ur not supposed to write a poem on specific times through a day...it wouldnt be nice and u woldnt know how to continue it, so. m gonna give an advie to all of you...when have like a very nice verse on ur mind, just write it down so that u dont forget it, when u do u would then write it back some other time when u feel like writting a poem,
writing the poem depends on ur feelings and on ur mood, take a break, ur mind and heart and feelings are not ready to tell u how they feel in the meantime, give them time :)

try not to force it, when the time comes for you to wrie something then it will just happen, if you force it it will be heard in the poem and it will ruin the flow.

    Hey Nelle.

Your poem doesnt need to perfect, as long as you tried then it will be great. Just slow things down and relax. Come back to it later after a little rest and just jot down any ideas you have. It will come to you babes, you write great poetry no matter what.
