Should I be feeling this way?????

I've been friends with this really great guy for about 5 years now, but I can't help but see him as so much more than just my friend! I'm just so confused because most of my friends do say that we'd be perfect for each other yet there are others who just call it a "crush" even though I've liked him for a few years.

I just want to know what to do because when we're apart I feel like i'm lost. Like i'm only half a person.
