I need advice. Plz help!

I like this dude at my job and word around is that he likes me too. My ex works with us but I don't want anything to do with him. Yet he tells my crush things that have happen between me and him and about plans that we have made recently that I quickly ended but my crush thinks that I will mess around with my ex if we develop something. But i don't want anything to do with him. I really want to be with my crush, but I'm afraid that my ex will try to fight my crush if he finds out if we get together. I don't want to cause complications. I'm not sure what to do. Help please! Advice is needed and will be greatly appreciated!

well, your ex- is jelous... let him be that way. jus let ur rush know how it is, how you feel and how you wold like it to be.... let him know he cant trust everything ur ex says....
