I lately found out I have depression and the dockter did give me some anti-depress pills but they make me want to sleep the whole time and lately I'm making plans how to kill myself. My boyfriend is very supportive but Im to scared to tell him I have suicide plans. I just want to go to sleep and never wake up. Can anybody list a few things I can do to make me feel beter. I really do need help cause I love my boyfriend but my life sucks balls

They will make you wanna sleep alot more. But about the suicide stuff, maybe just go back to your docter, and talk about it with him/her. :]

You're "making plans"? You don't make suicide plans ... or tell people. You'd just do it. If you were serious. Ok that sounded harsh .. but most people that creat "suicide" plans only do it because they want to be found out and stopped. Even if it is subconscious.

Actually it is proven medically that when you first start taking anti-depressants you do become more depressed and yes even suicidal sometimes.

1.Start an exercise program and work out for 15-20 minutes every day.

    2. Keep writing. The more you write about how you feel the better you start to feel since you are no longer carrying that burden.

    3. Force yourself to do things that you once enjoyed OUTSIDE! Whether it is going to the park, camping, or whatever... Just go outside in the sunlight and do it.

    4. Keep your window curtains and doors to where sun light fills your house, at least the room that you stay in most of the time. It is proven that the sunlight naturally boost your chemicals therefor is a natural remedy in helping to combat depression.

Just a few tips that will help.

Oh, pity I don't have TV. But yes, comedy is good, very good. Especially Jackie Chan comedies!

Well, i find that if you find a really good friend to talk to, they can help a lot. I find it easier to talk to a friend about my problems than a doctor. They may not be a professional, but you know them more. My friend and I are both depressed a lot and we talk to each other about it. It helps knowing they have experienced the same problem and that you are not and never alone. I actually saved two of my friends lives when they were depressed just by talking, giving advice, and being there. And if your boyfriend loves you, you should be able to tell him anything and everything. He should just be there to help you noo matter what. If you wanna talk, I'm here too.

I know this is incredibly insensitive of me, but why the hell are you depressed? if its clinical depression thats fine, but i think your just a hypocondriac, but thats just my opinion dont attack me for it. What irepairable reason can you have for being depressed?
