Could you give me some advice please? Id really apreciate it.

I really like this guy....and for a while I always thought he felt the same way but he was giving me mixed messages that I couldnt read. He would stare at me during class, move his foot near mine and then keep it there, butt into my conversations even if they had nothing to do with him, and he would always be behind me when I was walking to the next class. So after a little while of being his sorta friend....I got his number from another friend and I called him up asking for the 'homework'.

The next day, I was playing that game when you push a pretend button and you pick someone to ask out by guessing a number.....and I got him so I passed him a note during class asking if he would go out with me. Like this:
1. No Never!
2. Yes
3. Maybe Idk
(yes i kno, babish blah blah blah)

And he circled number 1. No Never!, but he crossed out the never so much that he made a hole in the paper right through the word. And he asked me how I got his number. As I was telling him, I asked him why he crossed out the never and he said that he didnt know why.

About a week later, we were watching a movie on the band stage, and there was no where to sit so I had to sit on the floor right in front of him. Except he was sitting on the chorus riser not the floor. Half way through the movie he moved so close to me that his leg was practically on top of my leg but I never said anything. He said no when I asked him out, and then he went out with someone else, then she dumped him. And even after she dumped him, he flirts with me and all like before but never does anything about it. And I dont know why he acts like that. He would talk to me on the phone the night before and be all nice, and then make fun of it a little around his friends the next day. I dont wanna get over him, but I really wanna kno why he does this, without asking him straight.

There could be several reasons why he's acting like that. I will give you two i believe might be the reasons. He might just be messing around with you. Guys can be flirtatious without liking someone. Another reason could be that he's confused about his feelings for you. Believe it or not, guys get those mixed emotions we get. He might be trying to figure out whether he likes you or not. The only advice i can give you is to let it go for now. If you try to put this to the side and focus on other things, something might happen. I hope that helped a little.

I really think you should talk to him about it though. It really would help.

It sounds a bit like he doesn't want to like you, but he is having mixed feelings, and he probably does.
Either ask him out straight, or...um, forget him.
It could be a good idea to steer clear, he sounds like the sort of person that might do something stupid.
