Love Me For Me

The tears silently stream down her face
As the hurt and pain, she tries to replace
She looks in the mirror, her swollen-eyed stare
Is the only thing visible there

She wasn't always this depressingly sad
It was all because of a love she thought she had had
It was torn away so suddenly fast
She knew that her feelings wouldn't last
[as she whispers "Love Me For Me"]

She reaches for a tissue to blot away the pain
She wonders of she'll ever be okay again
No one could replace the love she feels inside
But she knows one day, she'll have to try
[as she whispers "Love Me For Me"]

So she puts on some make-up to hide the troubles away
And stands up to embrace a brand new day
She can do this, she knows, it won't be that bad
No longer will she pity, no longer feeling sad
[as she whispers "Love Me For Me"]

So she kisses away her broken heart
And heads out for her brand-new start
She knows she has so much love to give
So now, a new life, she can finally live
[as she whispers "Love Me For Me"]

So she faces the world with a bright smile
She feels happy, a feeling she hasn't felt in awhile
She was right that everything will be fine
Sometimes, you just have to put your heart after your mind
[as she screams "Love Me For Me"]

~~Breath Of Fresh Air~~

Lying in the long blades of grass,
Making daisy chains that will never last.
Looking up at the clouds,
Quickly passing through the sky.
The earth is spinning,
Time's creeping away.

Deep down I know who I am,
But I feel suffocated by this world.
I grew up in a place,
With wide open space.
Enough room to make mistakes,
No people to judge, get involved.

Wind blowing, memories awaking,
Tears soaking, feeding the ground.
Praying for the land to take this ache away,
So pain and hurt can finally fade.
Heal my heart, heal my smile,
Make my life worth while.

Taking in a deep breath of fresh air..
God give me wings, help me fix things.
Give me strength to carry on.
Let the sun shine down on me each day,
Let me live, have time to play,
Because I don't want to be another,
Lost lonely soul at the end of the day.

I take a deep breath of fresh air, here I go again..

all we need is for somebody to do fading away and then we will be set!!! =D

Fading Away

Slowly opening battered green eyes
Squinting silently in the foggy gloom
Gazing sadly down at her frail, broken body
The flower of fear in her body does bloom..

Remembering the dreadful night before
When her father came home in a rage
His anger, onto her he hatefully released
A little girl of only three years of age..

Her mother had long ago left them
Selfishly saving only her own skin
To him, she left her tortured child
How could she ever forget this sin?

Her daughter lies broken and bleeding
Crying out for love or someone to care
Confused and hurt, betrayed and pained
Ripped apart, broken beyond repair..

A sad little girl of only three years of age
Lays desperately scared on the cold, hard floor
Trying so hard to breathe, to keep going, to live
Slowly fading away, not feeling the pain anymore..
