I Miss Daddy ( as seen by a six year old)

Why did my daddy go away, he shouldn't have had to.
He told me he'd return again, he told me in a year or so.
my mommy tells me he went to fight, but i said daddy's too good to fight.
She said in a place called Iraq, he may have to fight in daytime and night.

I kept watching the news,and Iraq was there a lot.
How could my daddy be fighting in a TV I asked.
Mommy said that daddy, was the man in green.
so i kept searching for him, looking on the screen.

one day at a friends house, his mom was looking at the TV.
she said it was a movie of war, and that i couldn't see.
but when i walked away, i saw a man in green.
i yelled that's my daddy, that's my daddy, but he suddenly got blown to smithereens.

i screamed with all my might, and i started to cry.
my daddy's dead, my dadddy's dead, but please tell me why.
why was he in a place like that, where he could be in harm's way
he said that he'd come back for me, he'd said he'd come another day.

i kept on crying and my friends mom took me to my house.
i kept ignoring all her words, and i was now as quiet as a mouse.
we walked up to my front door, and past the cans of tin.
and then inside my father was waiting. i ran and hugged him, now we're a family again.

I hear the car door, then I hear her leave
There's no one in the house, Except lil ole me

She won't be back for hours,
At least that's what she said
I am so glad that she has gone
I'm doing cartwheels in my head.

I think I'll jump on the bed, I never was allowed
There's so many things that I could do right now

I turn on the television
And my homework isn't done
I have my chores to do
But those things aren't any fun.

I'll get to them, a little later on I swear
But let me live this moment like I haven't got a care.

I'm running up and down the stairs
Like lightning speed I fly
My stereo is blaring out
The songs I was denied.

I call for pizza to be delivered really quick
My mom always told me, that it would make me sick.

Well, you can guess the outcome
I ate the pizza fast
I drank a lot of soda
And I am feeling bad.

The music is playing loudly in my aching head
I'm not sure I'll recover, I wish That I was dead.

Man, give me peace and quiet please
Leave me the hell alone
I wish that my sweet momma
Would hurry and get back home.

I wrote this one really weird, i know. But it's what came to mind, and it was a fast write, 'cause i was busy and i finally had time to sit and write, but i'm really tired so i wrote it before i go to bed. I am sorry for the delay.

Fantasy World

A crash, a death, her life shattered apart
Bleeding daggers fell through her heart
She watched her father fall through the air
Stared at shock for her was unaware

Once again she retreats to her room
Closing her eyes to a fantasy tomb
She dreamed of dripping honey
She dreamed of full-bloomed tree

A sudden flash of white loom over her
His face bents down in a slow blurr
She starts screaming in pure terror
His expression was her father

Violent shaking overtake senses
Holding herself and all her defenses
Finally her eyes open to reality

Been gone long?
Heck, I don't know.
Where did she go?
She didn't say where.

Why should I worry?
She was in a hurry.

Just as I am,

You everlasting arms,
As you take away the pain.
