I agree with Kim. Don't overwork yourself over something that hasn't even happened yet. Give it time, and when it does happen, you can deal with it then, and if it ever does happen and you need someone to talk to, i am always here as a pair of ears. |

when my heart was broken i just stayed indoors all the time....i didnt eat much and lost some wieght but i got over it in time....if in any such case you do have your heart broken then the hurt will pass in time and one day you will think back and think it was stupid that you hurt so much.....my motto never cry over someone that wont cry over you.....i hope you never have your heart broken. |

Write poems (you don't have to post it on here if you don't want to, just to get it out), or you can sing songs, try something physical, something that requires your every strand of attention so you don't have to think about it. Think about how it could be worse and be happy it isn't. I dunno, yea I have crappy ideas. But I try. |

When I got heart broken I wrote a lot of peotry, listened to lots and lots of my favorite songs & avoided the ones that reminded me of him, I kept a box of stuff that made me think of him & got rid of it when I was ready to, I tried to get outside to take my mind off things too and spent a lot of time around people. |

Experience the feeling because acting like it does not exist only makes one more miserable. |

If it happens there is one thing you must remember, you can not dwell on a past that will never change. Yes, it will take time to recover but if you keep thinking about what happened and how terrible it was you can keep your mind in a depressive state for a long time. Be sad, cry, and move on. |

well when my heart was broken i cried a lot at first, i wrote down my felings and turned them into poetry that made me feel way better about everything. I talked to my mates and mum. The only way to get over a heart break is to let it all out and how your feelings and try to forget. |
