is the best part of a poem the rhythm? the spacing and paragraphing? the languaege used? or is it the fact that some poems touch you emotionally and you can relate to them? what makes a poem good, unique? |

think a good poem is a poem that expresses the way u feel into words... it also makes a great poem if a reader can relate. |

I don`t know if there really is a "good poem." Everyone has their different opinions, but I think it`s best when the poems is from the heart. And it`s really great when people can relate to the poem. Like the person above me said. |

I think that personal experiences make the best poems..that is usually how i write most of my work. the real experiences help words come to me quicker than trying to make them rhyme. If u use ur own dialect and diction, it makes for a more interesting poem with lots more meaning. |

Poety is like pudding, the taste is in the eating. Some people value poems based on technicalities, others based on the story behind it and others the words. Poem is good to me when I figure out the purpose of it and especially those that have a philosophical touch to it. But here again this is my personal view, it doesnt say what a good poem is or not. |

There's really nothing specific that makes a poem good or not good. I guess it just depends on what you like. If you like a certain type of poem then you might like certain poems better than other ones. |

What makes a poem good is the story with in it and rather or not other people can relate with what the writer is saying. It is always good when a poem touches some one emotionally. |
