Well, you could try to cut back a little. Try to keep your skills to a minimum. Try talking to girls without doing anything that makes you seem like a show off. It's not as difficult as you think. Just try it.

Only you know yourself, and if you know that you're not showing off then it doesn't matter what they think. Someday they'll realize what a great person who are and how they lost out big time. Just be yourself and worry about the girls' later. Respect yourself and others in a sincere way and people will notice that in a good way.

ok first thing's first. If the girls are giving u dirty looks then they probably think that you would never like them in that particular way becuz ure popular or watever reason it is. It may just be that maybe u should hang out with like Idk maybe a lower or middle class girl. Don't be the guy who always aims high girl wise. Yeah its ok to shoot for the stars as in the best you can be but u can still be able to try a small on for size I hope you get what I'm saying.

Yeah I gotta agree with Catherine as well. That's my personal experience. But no matter who you're 'aiming' for respect her and get to know the girls around you, not just be nice to them.

I disagree. Girls mostly give guys dirty looks if they don't like their attitude. I don't think it has anything to do with whether they think you would like them in that way or not.

I know what you're saying, but thats not what I meant.. if you are talking to me. I meant that it's good to respect girls no matter who thye are because it'll show people who you really are. There's a fine line between 'just being nice' and respect.

That makes sense. I agree with that. I thought you were saying that girls give him dirty looks because they don't think he likes them in that way. I agree that he should respect every girl no matter who they are.

Okay, well, maybe it's just me, but I would love a guy that could do magic tricks and cartwheels and stuff. Personally I like a guy that can show off a bit, I mean, if I had him as a biyfriend, it would be like saying "I have the best" in a way, I guess. You probably just need a girl that isn't intimidated by you... someone who can match you, trick for trick.
Sometimes a guy is really talented, and you feel intimidated because you can't do those things, but if he jokes around with you, and looks impressed with your own particular tricks, then you feel comfortable.
Twirling a fork and playing with coins isn't such a big deal... and if you were a great dancer I'd be the first to want to snatch you on the dance floor, as I happen to be a moderately good dancer myself and would want a partner who could also dance.

well bieng a girl what you said sounded a little sho off-y. Id want a guy that would look my way into my eyes smile a few times. but if your trying to make a girl like you well dont cause if you try to hard they will think you just might want to end up in bed with them so lay back keep the 'skills' to a minimum (sp) and just talk to them but not akwardly (sry if i wasnt much of a help!) like my bf was good until he did something so i dumped him but ya.
