ok here it goes. this isnt my average poem..kinda sucks:P but im really nervous lately and i cant write. so yeah...

    Long Walk of Shame

The long walk of shame, all alone,
Feet pushing off the cement made of cold stone.
Walking through the hall, unfamiliar people around,
People snicker and glare, but I just look at the ground.

This is the long walk of shame,
People throw things, and yell out your name.
Cookies and papers, even water bottles thrown,
As I fall to the cement made of the stone.

This is the long walk of pity, or hate,
People always judge, but I’d like to debate-
You don’t know me, you just see me walk,
As all of you cackle and talk.

The long walk of shame, feet on the ground,
The cement is my friend, the only I’ve found.
The long walk of shame will no long be,
For pride I can feel deep inside of me.

    May I reserve water faucet...

  • broken reflection

    I turn the handle
    Enter the room
    Light one candle
    And prepare my own doom

I lock the door and throw away the key
There is neither towel nor gown
    That shall wait for me
    As I intend to drown

My eyes are swollen from tears
    I will escape my fears
The fears remembered from the bruises across my body
    I will set myself free

    I turn the faucet
The hot and cold water bind
The steam makes my head sweat
I shall soon leave my life that is so unkind

My trembling body enters the tub
The water covers the life that had battered me
This time there is no need to scrub
I grasp the blade that will release me from this reality

    A slice of my arms
I have caused myself a deadly harm
As I lose my blood my head has the beat of thunder
But I smile as I continue to go under

The water faucet was my pass
The tub was my death bed
    Now stained crimson red
It was my savior from my dreadful past

    -At The Gate.-

"Another summer has already come and gone."
He muttered under his breath at the edge of the pond,
As the sun slowly drifted along the top of the hills,
He sat shuttering from early falls chills.

Memories playing through his pounding mind,
Still feeling her fingers so tightly entwined.
And as tears started to trickle down his face,
He could still feel their final embrace.

The sky was black with a faint silver light,
Coming from the full moon that night.
Wolves were howling in the forest beyond the house,
And the final fire in his heart was doused.

Love alive in his eyes, he stood remembering hers,
With vodka dancing in his breath, his good-bye was slurred.
And the path was cascaded from footsteps filled with hate,
From the man who would never again go beyond the gate.

    The Champagne Bottle

    A rose on the table.
    To witness the betrayal,
    Of two lovers crossed
    As the night was lost.

    Beginning my tale
    Is a love that failed.
    A tale so wrong,
    The insanity did prolong.

    A bottle of champagne,
    Lain where it's lain,
    Holds on tight
    To a secret that night.

    Look closely to see
What this champagne comes to be.
    No longer champagne,
    But a new secret ingrained.

    Tampered with and stolen,
    Is this secret so golden.
    The champagne on the table,
    Tells of his betrayal.

Poision on the glass, trickling down -
As her death was sadly found.
'You deserve much better than me,
    Baby, don't you see?'

    Eyes closed against the pain;
The lies in that bottle of champagne.
'You deserve better than this place,
Your beauty is too much to waste.'

    'My secret is finally out;
    There is no final doubt,
    Too perfect is true
    That's why I killed you.'

    A rose on this table.
    To witness the betrayal
    Of two lovers crossed,
    As the night was lost.

    xDarkSuicidex
    ----------------------------------------------------------

Understanding: In case you didn't understand ((for it had the hidden meaning)) that the man thought his lover was too perfect for the world, that she deserved much better; to not live in this world. So, he killed her, so she could 'have better'. When he spoke of her beauty, he was saying her beauty was like an angel and that's what she deserved to be.

Sorry if it's a little too long..

    ~Blanket~

    Don’t ever leave me
    You are my love
    I will snuggle with you
    Until the end of time.

    From morning till night
    I will love you forever,
    I know you will
    Keep me safe and warm.

    When the shadows
    Come through my room
    All I have to do
    Is cuddle with you.

    Wrap your arms
    Around me
    You are my protector
    My one and only,
    How I love you
    You have touched my soul
You keep me out of harm.

    For you my love
This is how I see you
    You are soft and gentle
    Even though you are big
    And strong.
    You scare my nightmares away
You bring warmth to my heart
    To you my love
    You are my warm blanket.

    PIANO

Cascading down waterfalls of black and white keys
Running down triplets in handfuls of three
Leaping to the sky and crashing down like thunder
Reaching ears as it's melody plunders

Smooth and majestic as the ivory gleams
Waiting to be touched, awakened from dreams
Left in the years of swirling, flying dust
It's old charming music begins to rust

    I'll do books.

    *~My Addiction~*

    I look into the doorway
    And what do I see
    A stack of useless books
That are staring back at me

I wonder who put them there
    I wonder why I care
I wonder why I'm drawn to them
And how I cannot help but stare

    Why is this such torture
    These usless little books
How can they be so compelling
It's like they're giving me looks

I'm trying to beat my addiction
I'm trying so hard to fight back
But without these books in my life
They're just something that I lack

    darts getting me high
    by adrian or adrianc1294

put it with poison, let the darts fly
pin it down my body, making me cry
suck it in, snake through my veins
it's just like a drug, dissolve the problem and pains

getting high with it's pointy needle
just like a heroin, my body it tangle
    i could feel it's drug's twinge
feeling the poison in the dart like a syringe

    coming through it chokes me
tears feeling up my eyes, so bloody
    shouting, i simple die
    just because of being high

  • Audrey

I dont think it turned into what you wanted. It kind of took on a life of its own, but here goes...

Looking through the window of mans dissolution
victors of the past become victims of the future
wading in the tepid waters of failure
seeing the result of our evolution

Cornered they sit boxed and tied with pretty ribbons
echoing cries racing through acidic air
blinded and angry, they claw at themselves
    helpless animals caged and scared

Some reaching some falling, it comes to the same
nothing but fear can keep them at bay
nails dig in to bruised skin drawing blood
screaming inside, they'll never be heard

In unison they tremble, but are easily dissembled
they rip apart and forget they were ever one
a common goal, the same incentive
united they fall, divide and come undone

    Sissors,

    Slowly I take them,
I press them against my arm,
    Slowly I cut myself deeper,
So with these sissors I take my life,
Or maybe I will just have fun
Re-live my pain for a few more days,
Sissors so simple so small yet so deadly they will take my life!

Hehe, okay.. I feel bad about taking someone else's title though.. Lol =/

    Envelope

A white envelope lies silently beneath the empty bed
Containing a long letter, a letter that can never be seen
The reasons why from this awful life she silently fled
Leaving her body cold, at the delicate age of sixteen..

Letting out everything that was painfully held within
A letter that was meant to be sent, but did not have time
Because instead, the darkness within her gleefully did win
Pulling her into a black hole, slowly fading into the grime..

All the pain that her tender soul felt, never to be discovered
For everything that explains it, lies beneath an unmade bed
Hidden away, never to be seen, by dust and pain it’s covered
Her years struggling in hell, all lay in an envelope unread..

    Topic : Hat
    Title : If I Could.....

    If...
I could remove this hat of mentation
    releasing it to the wind

    I...
would no longer dive, deeply in thought
drowning in a sea of words

    Could...
this ink sleep quietly, beneath a silver moon
    leaving me in peace

    Release...
this mind consumed by restless nights
    to sleep in tranquility

    These...
escaped emotions freely, blowing in the wind
    my thinking cap removed

    Thoughts...
colored by feelings, portraits painted by words
    weeping canvas

    For...
constantly juggling a million words in my head
    is unbearably painful

    A ...
path worn bare, by many sleepless nights
    my mind walks

    Day...
of poetic poverty, where words are scarce
    shall leave me refreshed

And tomorrow the wind shall return my hat
my thinking cap, sturdily in place
    for a poet never sleeps

Author's note : When I try to sleep at night words are constantly flowing through my head . "Poems in the making" I guess you could say . Many times I have wished for these thoughts to stop . For I have had many sleepless nights .

    can i reserve telephone?

  • Esther

    Telephone,

    Torture it is waiting,
Even though I know it will ring,
Let it ring I pray, for it makes me feel like a King!
Even though she said she would?
    Perhaps she forgot?
    How could she though?
    On my own, I worry,
    Now I silently say hurry,
Even though she said she would?

I still wait by it worrying,
Please ring me on the telephone!
