Darkness
By: Twisted Heart

Cast your eyes into the shadows
Fear not the darkened sword
Stand there among the shards of death
And let your ebony heart take hold.
Let hurt and anger pave the way
As hunger fills the soul
Let not a candle flame light the day
Or hope protect you from the cold.
Don't place upon your lips a smile
Forever live within the pain
Drink not from the cup of happiness
Just ask for God to bring the rain.
Don't think in terms of forgiveness
Extinguish every spark
Then you can live there inside
The museum of broken hearts.

Darkness

He stalks the forest clothed in black
With eyes of undetermined hue
Creeping through alders and trembling leaves
Bidding the day adieu

Spider veils hide his hands
As shadows from his crown
Whispers stalk his every path
His tears in darkness drown

Dancing underneath the clouds
In circles deep and tight
Ensnaring the lurking souls
He is the Lord of Night

Swirlling,
Engulfing..
Everything.

Smothering,
Choking..
Everyone.

Darkness ,
Lives,
it
Surivives..
Thrives Even..

What is it?
Only Nothing,,
Fatal Nothing.
Who'd've known?

Such a tragedy..

Engulfing,
Circling..
Hunting.

Disengrating(sp?)
Destroying..
Consuming,

'T'will overtake
Everything,
and
Everyone..

T'will rise Again
and
Take Control..

Darkness...
is Coming..

Darkness..
Will Save Us..

Reserve me A SPOT!!

Darkness

Slowly creeping in, taking over innocent souls
Suffocating in never ending pain, silently dying
Endlessly stabbing soft hearts, unhealed holes
Internally debating if I should just stop trying..

Falling in deeper, eternally trapped in the dark
Reaching up for a hand, but left struggling all alone
Choices unwisely made, to deaths door I embark
Heading steadily through steel gates of the unknown..

Bony fingers followed by ebony wings grasp me
Pulling me away from love, from those who care
No longer fighting or having the strength to disagree
The connection between life and death slowly tears..

This definately isn't my best, but this was an older poem, nonetheless. Enjoy. =]

The Darkness

The darkness closes around me this night,
The moon takes over this midnight painting,
He reaches out to distinguish the light,
And takes over as the sun begins fainting.
He beckons gently to the whispering stars,
They giggle softly that they are waiting,
For the lingering sun to part its way,
And they smile as the light gently fades away.

Where does one end and darkness begin
When does one find the lust for sins

Bring me closer to the reflections of truth
Reveal dripping passions where light cease to exist
Embrace my soul with voices from deep within
Carve a pathway to a relm of mist

Forget the morals inscribed on your face
Resist the temptation to flee away
Follow obedience of the darkest kin
Live in fantasy from this very day

Where does one end and darkness begin
When does one find the lust for sins

please reserve a spot for me, i'm writing an essay right now and i'll try to do it afterwards or tomorrow

Darkness

Flowing with the rhythm of waves
dancing with the leaves in storm
screaming with every thunder
and you wonder where it came from

bleeding with the tears of my wounds
crawling within the bushes of memories
i cried your name a thousand times
hoping for you to turn, to hear me please

screaming with these creatures on my wall
as they now remind me of what i have lost
staring at the crystal ball which knows my fate
is fading slowly, darkness is all that i got

ok sorry i unreserve, i had a poem but it got erased and now i have even more homework to do.

Darkness

Like a bird in a cage,
I feet trapped inside.
So many feelings,
Things I had to say.
Voices were surrounding me,
I needed to get away.
I wish I could fly,
Spread my wings,
Free my spirit in the sky.
Get rid of all the darkness
That welled inside.

The darkness inside is raging forever
it wants to get out, and never says never.
It can control us, make us do bad deeds.
but it too can help, help us with our needs.

It goes on and on, an unending road.
and if it leaves us with light, we feel like an empty node.
is the darkness evil, is it just tricking us.
or is it really neutral, just making us fuss.

will it ever be answered, ever understood.
does it make our day cool, or give us a bad mood?
so are we to fear that which hides away light?
or are we to praise that which comes out at night?

Love Is Not Always What It Appears To Be

The crow claws holes at virgin eyes
marking their spot of deceitful lies
young girl in love, to blinded to see
love is not aways what it appears to be

plucking rose petals, drowning in tears
"he loves me not" is what she fears
teenage crush, yet a heart feels pain
abandoned with ease, her virginity slain

darkness comes, hiding from the past
adolescent life, falling apart so fast
digging a grave, slipping into the hole
tears overcome her body and soul

deception scars so deep, pain is real
hearted clouded over, unable to heal
salt water tears of drowning emotion
one fatal taste, of his mendacious devotion

depression a place the sun does not shine
left in the darkness, where sadness will dine
love is not always what it appears to be
first loves don't always come, with a guarantee
.........................for life............................
