A different kind of challenge

Pick a character from the last book or movie you watched. Then write a poem of at least 12 lines about that character. Do not use names, just description.

The winner gets 3 complete critiques of there work style/flow/imagery/the work at first glance/and on the 2nd reading etc..

2nd place gets 2 complete critiques

3rd place gets 1

The contest will last till halloween

Interesting one. I'm reading one on a femal serial killer, so this shall be fun! Lol. It can be more than 12 lines though right? Just not less than 12..? =S

Hero of Ithaca

Lost at sea
For 20 long years
This cannot be
Fighting a battle
Waging a war
While suitors prattle
Hated by the gods
This hero of Ithaca
Leading his squads
Without food or drink
Trapped on an island
Their hearts sink
He will prevail
This hero of Ithaca
They will tell his tale

hopefully that calling him hero of ithaca doesnt coutn against me and it's kinda tough to write about because i'm only on the 4th chapter of the book but whatever i just feel like writing today, this is my fourth poem of the day now so i guess thats a record for me, it's not a big deal if i win or not but i guess it would be nice i just wanted to show some people my writing really although this really doesnt reflect my other poems (once again totally babbling on) so i guess im done
