stop the love

im in love with a guy, ive known him for years,but he has a gf and flirts with me all the time..even offered a place for me and him to go...i dont want to love him and i dont even know why im attracted to him..how can i stop my feelings growing for him?? he wont ever leave his gf cos.

For one thing, you're profile says you're over twenty so please use regular language and capital I's.

Second: Try and organize your thoughts to make sense.

Third: How do you know you're in love with him? You could love him without being in love with him?

Four: Why won't he leave his gf? Besides if he's flirting with you but has a girlfriend what's to say he won't hook up with you and flirt with someone on the side.

my heart is teling me i love him, i feel it deep down inside-its crazy i know but for some strange reason i just know that im in love with him, i want these feelings to stop though before things get dangerously out of hand..he has been with his girlfriend for 4 years, although he has told me and others on numerous occasions that he is tired of her he has also said he wont marry her yet but probably will eventually.even if he did leave her he probably would flirt with other girls and because i get jelous easily i want to stop theese feelings now, before it all gets out of control.

So you want to stop these feelings? Try making a list of all the reasons not to be with him. He's been with this girl for four years yet he doesn't want to marry her yet but might eventually even though he's said he's tired of her. Doesn't sound like a guy who'd respect you. He flirts with you anyway, he obviously might not even respect his girlfriend.

I think that if he has a girlfriend but still flirts with you, and likes you but still won't leave his girlfriend, then he's not worth it.
