Bounce Back Ability

I've had to get used to it,
over the years,
Bounce back ability,
gets rid of the tears.

I'll always be strong,
I now know how to be.
I have the greatest,
bounce back ability.

Got to go through it,
all over again?
Bounce back ability,
eases the pain.

It doesn't matter,
it is a must.
Bounce back ability,
I know how to adjust.

I learnt the hard way,
things never change,
Bounce back ability,
I'll just rearrange.

Whatever happens now,
I know I'll always be.
Alright, always and forever,

The Domino Effect

It started with a simple lie
"I just need some space"
But those words, when said to me
Mere time could not erase.
I saw him a few days ago
He passed me on the street
He was with someone I knew
A happy pair, they looked to me.
Acceptance started in my mind
At least that's what I thought
But days have turned into weeks
And my soul has bared the cost.
My heart's an open wound, you see,
Realization has now set in
For the one that he is seeing
Used to be my friend.
It's been going on for months
this second life he's led
And as I think back through the lies
I should've heard past words he said.
Trust, no longer dwells within
My heart, my soul, my mind
Somehow, I don't see it healing
Within the realm of time.
It's crushed inside this body
Where no one will ever see
The impact of a simple lie
That my love told to me

-Summer Of Destiny.-

Under the stars, with waves crashing into the shore,
I asked myself why I was here, and what I was waiting for,
The sun was setting, time was running short,
And all of these feelings, I soon had to sort.

When all is done and said, with you by my side,
Will you still hold me like this? Or toss my love aside?
Will the road continue on as far as eyes can see?
Or come to a tragic end with tears and misery?

With my pink dress silhouetted against the moon casted tide,
I have realized, that no longer my feelings can I hide,
From the moment that your lips first collided with mine,
Every little word you had said was a clear sign.

You're standing out on the dock tonight, just you and the moon,
Waiting for someone to find you, hoping for it soon,
You sing the lullabies of your hopes to the sands and the fish,
Not ever once thinking twice about what you wish.

With my eyes of sky on your falling tears,
I whisper my sweet hello into your ear.
We're together now, and forever will be,
Always remembering, that summer of destiny.

THE GRASS ISN’T ALWAYS GREENER

The grass isn’t always greener on the other side
Believe me, I know, I saw, I tried

I tried to learn from the mistakes that I made
But they looked me in the face, and it, they forbade

Wondering if waiting is the right thing to do
If it’s all worth it, but then I look at you

I see your face with your smiling eyes
And I wonder how I could even say goodbye

You are a part of me, as I’m a part of you
Don’t tell me now that we are really through

I’m holding onto a feeling, holding onto a dream
That you’ll be here with me forever, would that be too extreme

I know that in my heart, this is so right
So please baby, stop putting up a fight

Just come back home, to my welcoming arms
And stop this torture; it’s causing us harm

The grass may just be greener, if you know where to look
Near the edge of the forest, or near that babbling brook

Put your heart into it, and emerge it in your soul
Do this to yourself, and maybe you’ll feel whole

by you're acting like a damn saint

the hardest goodbye; you have to understand why
you have to let go; and what comes next you never know
a new opportunity you'll hope for; while one closes an old passage door
don't cry, it's going to be alright; i'm here with you, i'll hold you tight
it's hard to explain and hard to control your reactions; but when all of it passes by, all your emotions
you'll remember the day, you let it go; sensing you were right, it wasn't the end of the show
tell me you're right about what you did; many questions, few answers, please don't greed
the hardest goodbye; you have to understand why
first thing i did was cry; now i know it's for the better, it just another goodbye

it doesn't really makes sense...but watever...it it's dumb then give this to another person
