matching tattoo's

my friend has just come back off her holidays with her bf...and we have always said to one another that we would never, NEVER get anyones name tattooed on our selfs-in case of a huge breake up and we would be stuck with a reminder..when she got back she told me that both her and her bf have got matching tattoes (of gheco's) ! i know this isnt the same as name tattooing, but they both have the same, and when they do breake up (and they will) how do i tell her its her own fault without being nasty or hurtful??

You never know if they will break up or not. You cannot predict anything to come in the future. And, yes, let her figure stuff out on her own. That is the only way to truly learn.

I have my ex hubby's and my ex gf's name tattooed on me, and although the relationships didn't last I don't regret having them done.. They were both a huge part of my life and it has been 2years since me and my ex gf split up, and 6 since me and my ex hubby split up, but still don't regret having them done.. maybe if things don't work out with your friend and her bf.. she still may not regret having it done anyway.

Who are you to judge, its her body and her relationship keep your nose out of it! Some one sounds jealous to me...

and a friend would never doubt another friend's relationship.. why don't you support her, instead of interrorgate her.

i havnt interrogateed her..and i do support every descission she makes, i keep my opinions away from her when shes happy.

and i have no reason to be jelous of her, i have the same as what she has.

shes my friend-how can i just ignore what she i doing!?

I agree. It is not a name, and even though he has one as well, it won't be as big of a blow if the relationship does fail. It is a tattoo of a gecko, she can easily just forget about him with the tattoo.
