I never said I did not like it. I just said it was not my absolute favorite. I also did not say you HAD to have semi-colons and periods in poems; it just makes them flow better. How I look at poetry is the style of writing, how well the person gets the thought across, how creative they did so, how creative the overall idea was (not cliche), and how descriptive they are. That is pretty fair. Just beacuse I do not like your style of writing means nothing. Calm down. And finally, perhaps, since it got such a low rating, I do not want such a badly written poem in my contests or such a poor attitude. Come back to me when your serious.

EVERYONE ELSE:
Before posting complaining about the ratings, I did not mention that the ratings were not the serious ratings I would have given them.. They are the ratings to which they gave me feeling to cry. Does that make sense? If it was low, it did not make me want to cry at all.. If it was higher, it could have brought chills or thoughts of sadness to me. Does that make the ratings better? Most of these poems I read would have been a 5.0 poem..But, I was not rating it for the quality, but how much it made me want to cry. Make sense? I hope that clears things up a bit.
