My Guardian Angel

I stand here protected, as one guarded child.
I sit alone safely, where nothing is wild.
Never been in danger, never in harm's way.
and all of life's challenges, waited at bay.

i have always been happy, for I've never felt pain.
my angel stands by me through sun snow and rain.
she is always smiling. and a smile she receives.
she tricks enemies away, or is it me she deceives?

I have always been guarded, and so never in fear.
and I stay locked up always, year after year.
have not seen a human, for she said they are bad
and even though i am healthy, i remain sad.

have i been missing out, is there much more to life,
could i someday have children and maybe a wife?
I must see it for myself, no longer can i wait.
i must be fragile, for fear is a human trait.

i wanted the experience, yet she locked me in.
i tried to run away, but she will always win.
I'm stuck here forever, i cry through the night.
and for the first time ever, i am feeling fright.

so long's gone by now, i still am stuck here.
i now cry every night, for real life is so near.
but here i shall stay, until my final breath.
so is she My Guardian Angel, or my Angel of Death.

Hidden behind the lace of moonlight
Where faces are tainted in forbidding lost
I run around in circles over and over
Hoping to cover all my losing cost

They don't know how the rain sings my name
They don't know how the dark kisses my heart
All they see is a mirror, an obscene clone
With enough smiles to play her part

All I need, is some truth, some love from high up
Some strength to start up my engine again
To brace myself against the falling steps
Some hopeful omen to tell me when

Where can I hide my mourning confusion
Where scorching torches cannot embrace
The fact my soul is tearing piece by piece
And my smile dangling in a pitiful grace

They don't know the chains around my mind
They don't know how I wander alone at night
But the moonlight knows every step I take
Closer to the awakening dark delight

A Final Prayer

A slow rolling tear
Fell down his cheek
As he stood over her bed
he began to feel weak

He couldn't believe it
No way this was true
He couldn't live without her
He wouldn't know what to do

He dropped to his knees
At the head of her bed
Looked up to the ceiling
While crying he said,

"Why'd you do this god
Why'd you take her from me
I need her so much
Why can't you see

It can't end this way
No, she can't die
God please don't do this
I can't say goodbye

She can't go away
Not here, not now
I'll do anything to bring her back
Please just tell me how

Take the life from me
Take my heart and soul
God please bring her back
I don't care what the toll

Take the blood from my veins
The breath from my chest
I don't care if I die
Just put me to rest

He stopped speaking for a minute
As she layed there slowly dying.
The only sound to be heard
Was of the teenage boy's crying

His tears crashed to the floor
As he barely made a stand
He reached across her body
And gently held her hand

As he wiped his eyes
He couldnt understand
Why'd this have to happen
Why'd it have to end?

He had one last thing to do
As he watched her lay
He had one last minute
One last thing to say

"I have one more thing to ask
a favor, God, from you
If you are going to take her
Can you please take me too?"

Again he fell to his knees
Not knowing what else to say
He held her hand tight
Not ready to give her away

But then he heard the monitor
Beep for the final time
And after that, all to be heard
Was the single flat line.

He let her hand go
And kissed her on the cheek
As more tears came to his eyes
He prayed they'd soon meet

Although she is in heaven
Past the clouds and above
They could deny him her body
But could not deny their love

And when he gets to heaven
He will soon see
She will be waiting
To be together...Eternally

I never thought to bathe in solitude
Nor reflect a sigh into the starless night
An echo for an echo; Twinge for twinge
Beneath silence I waited there, waited still

I never thought to weep these tears
Nor melt in Vincent's twisted oil sight
His brush for brush; Sketch for sketch
Then waited ever more, waited there alone

And born under winter light, empty snow
To heal while sun slips through the white

Hushed secrets cached beneath septic skin,
Anemic bones tormented from pain within,
Enhanced nerves tremble blood streams,
Tarnished tears gush upon open wounds,
Chaotic mindset awoke believable dreams.

Isolated visions engulfed muzzled thoughts,
Taped skeletal frames escaped triple knots,
Languished emotions controlled innocence,
Injected fears revealed unknown past scars,
Chaotic mindset hushed in complete silence.

Narcotic fumes consumed troubled airways,
Fainting portraits stood strong on displays,
Collapsed future stared fear into the eyes,
Regretful memories flashed beyond lights,
Chaotic mindset prayed for final goodbyes.

Swimming around, everywhere, blood sets, displaced,
((Chunks)), indescribable matter on the ground,
With a difficult decision you are faced.
Push harder, deeper, more, let your heart resound.
Decide your fate quickly, enjoy the taste.
Listen gently to your screams fall to the ground.
Piece by piece, taste by taste, you'll eat your flesh,
Falling deep within a sleep; your final rest.

Feast upon flesh, so delicate and great,
Breaking skin by teeth - smell the smell so strong,
Cannibalism is your scrumptious fate.
Blood dripping down your face; this can't be wrong,
Looking up at victims with utter hate
For their flesh in your mouth is where it belongs.
Lying around you are skin and broken bones,
Laugh as you break the flesh; hear their final moan.

Children laughing
Babies crying
Presents opened
The tree is shining
Yes it’s Christmas time
And still this pain doesn’t end.

Hugs and kisses from each kid,
Yet the loneliness is still lurking within.
Thank You Mom they each say
I nod my head and look away…
The loneliness causes so much pain.

The family gathers for Christmas dinner
Thirty of forty people… I can’t remember
In a crowded room I look and see
The loneliness is still lurking within me.

Conversations fill the room
Laughter and cheer fill the air
Yet even with everyone near
I’m still lonely and feeling despair.

Returning home and time for bed…
I bath the children and shake my head…
For loneliness still lies within.

As we crawl in bed
And snuggle up
My tears start falling
Again tonight….

Even with their little arms wrapped tightly around me
The loneliness is still there

Yes, I have discovered
The only thing worse than being lonely while alone
Is being lonely with everyone here.

Sitting this cold morning
looking out my fogged window
curled up in my bed
how quietly the world goes on..

my pillow is creased
hours spent within my arms
as i look out the window
waiting for you to come back home..

window's like a wide screen
memories play like a slide show
hours of playback refresh my mind
every smile before i watched you go..

flashes illuminate this dark room
quiet, still, i lay without motion.
i'm staring at the wide screen
waiting for you to come back home..

another day passes by
the movie hasn't finished playing
the drama comes along to view
each ends with me gone insane..

lying in a pool, mini-ocean
single pool, salt and water prone
i'm floating carelessly
waiting for you to come back home..

three days straight curled in my bed
my pillow become my only friend
the only shoulder to ease my pain
i close my eyes, tears near the end.

i stare out the window
this lonely week gone
i'm dying quietly
waiting for you to come back home..
