Look at other peoples writing and see what you like about and it see what you want to take from it. Write bout how you feel if you are in love write bout love you are sad, mad, whatever just write bout it! It helps most writers write from there haert. You may not know how you feel but you can write bout something in the pass hurt, hate, or whatever. Just write and wite untill you really like something work on ohter things you have not got done with or something you did not like that you worte!

Sometimes, you have to move away from poetry for a little while. I had writers block for a few months but eventually it disappeared, Try not to get too upset about it, it will come back to you, I found that thinking up poems and different rhymes but not writing them down made it easier, don't force yourself to write.

The Three C's .. challenge, cause, chance

    A) Find a few differnt poetry tequnics that you have not written/written for a while/written only a few of. (gives you challenge)

    B) go onto the contest forum and find a few contests.. write them down and if you need to reserve your titles... (gives you cause)

C)Grab Your Favorite NON alcholic drink, (mine is hot chocolate) go to a place where you feel safe/comfortable/at ease with life, with little distractions. (gives you chance to by undistraced and calm)

when ever i am stuck i turn to the three c's... and so far it has works.

I know that this probably isn't going to help much, but the only way I can get rid of writer's block is to wait; eventually it will go away. If you want some real advice, one thing that sometimes helps is listening to a song and picking out a couple of your favorite lines. Use those lines as motivation to write something. Good Luck and sorry if I didn't help much...

We can't really help you. Read a book, take a walk, listen to music, watch the news or just wait

i suggest almost forgeting about it, but as your "living your life" write down anything that you feel and words that may or may not come to you... it could take awhile but you'll be back writing poetry soon enough! Good Luck! =D

I was once going tho a hard breakup but could not release the emotion. To get the writeing to flow I took words from favorite songs and turned them in to poems. This for me freed up that block of emotion then i was able to create some thing all of my own. This might not work for everyone but it helped me.
