-Follow The Moonbeams.-

In a darkened room she sits with her head on her hands - -
Looking to the moon; praying to the only one who understands
Blond curls hide her eyes as she bows her head in disgrace
Tumbling through life, shattered dreams she tries to chase.

She's hiding her cuts and bruises under baggy clothes
Concealing her eyes under sunglasses and a broken nose
People stop to stare as she walks by, never stopping to avail
Not noticing blood shot eyes and a face so pale.

There's yelling coming through the floor; she falls to her knees
Hushed agony muffling her broken hearts shattered pleas
Falling from grace, she prays to the decaying stars
Taking her time to justify the reasons for her rusting scars.

As she wipes the porcelain tears from her face
She packs all of her bags for outer space
Waiting for someone to come and repair her dreams - -
She prepares herself to follow the moonbeams.

Follow the Moonbeams

In the soft gentle breeze, I look towards the sky
Searching the depths of the cool Autumn night
Hoping to find a moonbeam or two
So I can follow it's softening hue.

Into the heart of the blanket of dusk
Along the scent of Jasmine and Musk
I reach to the stars and my soul starts to lift
I grab a hold of the moonbeam's sweet wrist.

It takes me higher than mountains I've seen
Floating along with what ever it brings
Just simple instructions playing the host
On this trip with a moonbeam, I freely go.

Holding tight to it's tail, I travel into
The sphere of it's light, a deep midnight blue
Soaring above dark clouds in the sky
Touching the stars as they wander by.

Such magical bliss of sailing along
Enchanted by night's sweet Autumn song
Touched by the flight of the harnessed moonbeams
Set ever so gentle in the grasp of my dreams.

OMG I SO HAD A FREAKING DREAM ON WHAT TO WRITE.. and then mom woke me up :|

srry i'm dumb but wat the hell is a moonbeams? lol

haha like the light that the moon gives off and is captured like a sun beam through a window... did that make any sense...x.X

Follow the Moonbeams [Part 1]

Another night beside my bed
With tears staining her porcelain cheeks
She clenched my hand so tightly
Silence filled her soul

The moon shone upon my face
And she looked towards the stars
The pulsation of my heartbeats
Swayed across the monitor

I felt her words sink into my skin
And I just wanted to hold her
But I could not move
Screams filled my thoughts

I tried to tell her everything was fine
That I will always be with her
But I could not find my voice
Suddenly my mind filled with tears

I felt the moonbeams upon my skin
Pulling me towards the sky
And as she looked towards the monitor
Steadily heartbeat had gone still

Reserve me a Spot

Follow the Moonbeams

Just another refuge escaping from the mirror
Closing his eyes knowing danger came nearer
Through the empty bucket of stars and shadows
Past leaping shadows from an enclosed plateau

Far away from voices and crackling whips
Far away from bleeding noses and swollen lips
With clothe on his back & his friend as the moon
With nothing but hope and a childhood tune

He limps and struggles the thought of sleep
While he resists the temptation to finally weep
He watches the moonbeams cover the ground
As it leads him to a place where freedom is abound

tickling the emerald leaves out there
shining through your windowpane
there where to lie alone, waking
to be feel the light of the moon

so follow, follow the moonbeams
out to the stars, your destiny
through the door, leave it behind
the metal and steel and humankind

throught the street of deep asphlt
restraining the breath of the earth
slip in through that tear in space
to that grove of silver trees

where apollo once chased the chaste
before she became a rooted tree
where adam and eve touched so close
damning all of history

here where history, spirit resides
she waits, watching, breathing for you
come here and lay in the fallen leaves
and wait for your goddess to love thee

for she will come with the moon's bright light
to hold, to feel, to tresure thee
for now time and spirits holds thee true
forever in beams of moonlight, forever you.

Follow the Moonbeams

Running silent, heart pounding
Like my feet upon the track
Keeping focused straight ahead
Not daring to look back

I hear him breathing hard
As he searches for my trail
But light as a feather I go
It's one race I can't fail

Hours by now have passed
I'm wandering by the streams
I'm tired, but a voice speaks
"Child, follow the moonbeams."

So I look up to the sky
Then follow white lines down
And there I find my way home
Dancing upon the ground

I dart after these figures
As they stay a step ahead
Each time I run they leap
One step farther from death

I feel my eyes are closing
Just a moment of sleep and dreams
But once again I hear a voice,
"Please child, follow the moonbeams."

So I push myself and go
With what's left of me it seems
Safely away from my captor
I sleep beneath the moonbeams.
