My best friend lead me on

I had a 'crush' on my best friend and I thought he liked me back.

We'd hug and wrap are arms around each other and all that kind of stuff, then at a disco we slow danced, alone together. I was so happy and we looked into each others eyes and we just flirted and everything.

Nxt night I told him how I felt. He said 'I love you so much but just as a friend.'
afterwards he talked to my other best friend saying how he felt bad for leading me on like that.

Nxt day he kept hugging me and all that kind of stuff and to this day he still does.

what do i do, cause Im afraid Ill never get over him...

Well, I think you should tell him to stop. If that's what lead you on in the first place and he knows it then won't stop, that's pretty lame. Tell him to respect you. A hug every now and then is ok but don't let him keep it going on and on like that.

i hate it like one day ill not want to talk to him or be around him then it just sort of happens.

i hate it, cause i truly dont want to get over him but i know i have to.

Well, to be honest. I don't think it's his fault. He said he loved you as a friend, and he feels bad for leading you on. Maybe it's in his personality to be flirty and to hug you and what-not. It's hard though, when you like someone who only likes you as a friend. Just keep him as a friend, things may change..

Tell him to freakin` stop .
My ex did that to me after he dumped me. Made me think he still liked me (Turned out he did, but we both knew that we`d never get 2g again) . He would wrap his arms aroudn mel ike he would always do, and hug me from behind, and EVERYTHiNG . People thot we were still going out, but i told him to stop it and getting over him became easier . It hrut ebcause i was so used to it, but I got over him .
