Please, do not take offense of this post, anyone. Especially those of you who have written the type of poems mentioned. |

None of my rape poems say thus... "The Bells Chime" was a much different write, of mine, and I think you may just enjoy the change of writing. I hate cliche things; they bother me. Why cannot people come up with their own words rather than taking someone elses? |

Yeah I noticed that, but the people that have experienced it, it`s hard for them to write about such a horrible experience .I have friends that have been there, so I relaly admire those that can go and write about such a terrible memory . And the people that write about it, when it hasn`t happened to them, I guess that`s just how they express it ? >_< I don`t knowwe, but I have one poem about rape I think . |

The rape poems are all the same because the act is the same. |

There ahs to be some sort of cliche in rape poems, how else is a rape going to happen if you do not "Pin her down and stick it in." ? You are not going to ask her to lay down and spread her legs and then she does it. That is not rape. However, it wouldn't do harm to change the wording around a bit. You asked of other rape poems, I only have one that I can remember and it is Bullets Laced In Love {Italian Sonnet}. But it doesn't quite tell that big of a tragic story because it is hard for me to talk about my memories with it and yeah. I am slowly adjusting though. |

I have notied the same thing, but I think that for someone who actually went through it writing about it is the best threapy.. and sometimes people have trouble talking about it let along putting it into metaphores. |
