Unfaithful
By: Twisted Heart

Once more she waits, the dinner untouched
He called her just a few minutes ago
Saying he's working late once again
But she hears the lie, as it is told.

A distance has grown from words left unsaid
from actions that she thought were fake
But now she is lost in the hands of time
Unable to mend the gap as it breaks.

A blanket of silence, now covers their bed.
On her pillow, now damp with her tears
She holds to the hope of it mending itself
But it hasn't in these many years.

What happened to the new love they shared
Way back in her lost memories
Was it destined to die, right from the start
In souls bound with twines unfaithfully.

Her tears now all gone, for her heart is entombed
By his careless abandon, that took away
Any hope of the dreams that they shared long ago
Now vacant thoughts trapped in yesterday.

It's trapped somewhere near the light

Hope diminishes frozen fears
And helps to keep away all the tears

Hope is what the world really needs
Because it's filled with all of this greed

Hope brings courage and strength
For those people who can go the length

And helps to protect the innocent who cry

Sorry it's kinda long

Reflection

Here I lay and I still am awake
Trying to cover my latest mistake
That I loved her but her love was never encountered
Now I lie in my dreams and she’s still haunting me
Everywhere that I look she is all that I see
No matter how far I have wandered.

For I met her that day, and it all seemed so right
We were together the whole day and the whole night.
And the fire just seemed to keep burning.
She said she loved me and I said it too.
She said that this strange feeling was new.
And I never thought that I’d be crying.

I lay here in the dark just recalling it all.
Wondering what I did just to make it all fall.
And my sleep just seems so far away.
Walked all around looking at a happy photo
Now my life is just filled up with sorrow and woe.
And it seems things just never go my way.

I look in the mirror but don’t see myself
What did she do to me; I’m like the only sad elf.
And it hurts that she just wanted to move on.
The mirror tricks my mind, it makes me go insane.
My reflection is so dark as if I’m caught in rain
And I now feel like what I have done is real wrong.

My reflection shows me as I’m seen by the world
But it cannot show me that I feel like I’ve hurled
And I feel like I might drop and die.
Since she left me I’m dying.
Before her I was lying.
And now I am just asking why.

So it’s all over now, enough time has gone by
Now I’ll try to sleep on it, I’ll say my good bye
And now I will forget all that I’ve done.
So I now get her body and take it outside.
I dig up the hole it’s the end of the ride.
And now that she’s gone, I have won.

This Old Love..

It’s like a song,
A song that’s gone on, for far too long.
We introduced ourselves,
Our hearts, our minds, our bodies,
Our souls, and our love through and through.
We had our moment, we had our chance,
When our love was so real,
So real that it could have killed.
But you fooled around, dragged it on,
Like an never ending love song,
A love song that went terribly wrong.
You let our love slip away,
And our happiness too.
Everything that we had once had,
You forgot about, slowly broke my heart.
I’m tried of listening to this same old song,
This old love that has now gone…

Crash And Burn.

Angel's stood within the fog with secured hands,
Scornfully chanting a tragic lullaby,
Watching her body rust amongst the silver sands.

Decaying stars fell down from the raven sky,
Searing the burning Angel's wretched wings - -
Scornfully chanting a tragic lullaby.

Her scarlet tears plucked at the rotting harp strings,
As the moon faded to ashes; falling from the burning sky,
Searing the burning Angel's wretched wings.

Her shattered heart let out a sorrowful cry,
With tainted nails dragging along the shore line,
As the moon faded to ashes; falling from the burning sky.

Maniacal laughs cracked up and down her broken spine,
Echoing from the Angel's crimson mouths - -
With tainted nails dragging along the shore line.

She drifted away as Ivory Angel's sang her to sleep - -
Watching her body rust amongst the silver sands;
Angel's stood within the fog with secured hands - -
Praying to God; her tattered soul to keep.
