Well, this is kinda sad/horror/sad love, because I had it the night after seeing the film...it's the last saddest dream I remember...feel free to get as Freudian as you'd like...

"SILENT HILL"

Driving at night on my own
I found a town I didn't know
Crashed the car, but I survived
Atleast I think that I'm alive

The place is dead, no one in sight
To rent a bed to sleep tonight
A siren screeches through the sky
The sudden shift gave a fright

Black and red bled from the clouds
Inflicting darkness on the ground
I want to scream or run away
When I hear the words they say

"Where's your God now?"
A voice pushes me down
And I fall into a chapel
So many questions, but how?

Women in rags and Puritan clothes
Seem to tremble as they approach
And tell me what this young man had done
The danger he had rescued me from

I wanted to thank him, but he was gone
So I sat and prayed with the orthodox ones
But soon I let my eyes yet wander
And was caught by the priest's daughter

She knew my feelings
She thought it was cute
But warned that his fortune
And favor were in ill-repute

"He'll make you question your faith"
She began to explain
But this seemed but to prove
He was not incurably insane

When our eyes finally met at the psalm's refrain
He smiled softly and parted his lips with a wave
This brave gentle demeanor, I felt my heart cave
No, wait, that was the floorboards giving in

I claw at the wind, fall into the abyss
Then I see him out of the corner of my eye
And I stop mid-descent, I'm just standing on air
I never learned to fly

Every forward step I make
I feel my body slip away
Every effort made
Every odd at stake
I feel my feet give under me

I never reach him here
I'll never keep him here
Though not for any lack of trying
This is Purgatory
Where everyone is dead
But we're still afraid of dying
And this is the part where I wake up crying
